Preschool Early Learning Program
The Fort Frances Nursery School provides an enriching preschool environment with the cooperative support and participation of the parents.
Program spaces are available for children who are 18 months to 5 years with individual support and programming for children with special needs.
Government subsidized spaces are available for families who need financial assistance with the Nursery School fees.
Our program is staffed by a fully qualified Program Supervisor/Resource Teacher and an Early Childhood Educator. A Board of Directors, whose members are mainly parents, manage the affairs of this non-profit organization.
The Fort Frances Nursery School offers eight 2 1/2 hour sessions that you may choose from. We run Monday through Thursday, with the morning class going from 8:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and the afternoon class taking place from 12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
To provide an enriching environment for children to learn through play so all areas of child development are stimulated.
It is well documented that children who attend early learning programs such as Fort Frances Nusery School gain social competence and the educational skills that are important to succeed as learners.
