Forketta Épicerie Gourmet

We travelled 40 minutes to come here because we saw the good reviews and wanted to try their sandwiches. When we arrived at 11:50am on a Saturday, we were disappointed and confused to find the store was closed lights off and door was padlocked. We tried to call them several times but no one answered, and we were unable to leave a message because they don't have voicemail. We checked their social media pages Instagram and Facebook but there was no indication anywhere that they were closed. After messaging them on both Instagram AND Facebook, I finally received a response that they were working a private event and "didn't get a chance" to post it on their social media outlets. It was a huge waste of our time and a mistake that we will not be making again. I wouldn't recommend the trip because who knows if they'll actually be open during their posted hours?

Really good sandwichs I recommend trying this place out and they also have a student discount. They will not disappoint

Best sandwich place in Montreal hands down. A must try!! I honestly cannot find enough good things to say about the place. It has a homey, local feel and the owners treat their customers very well. Not to mention all sandwiches are made only with the highest quality of ingredients and served at the perfect temperature. My favorite sandwich is Le Rosemont!

Had a great sandwich here. It was fresh and lots of flavour. Service is friendly and attentive. It's easy to miss walking past so I'm glad someone showed it to me. I'll definitely go back.

Forketta restaurant is an absolute gem in the Rosemont borough. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and offer excellent customer service. The sandwiches are to die for with quality ingredients and very affordable prices. They even boast a sandwich/dish of the week to add diversity and excitement to their menu. Forketta also provides a catering service perfect for any and all events you have planned! I cannot stress or recommend this place enough if you're in the area and not eating here you are missing out! 100% recommend

I’ve ordered Forketta twice now for two different events and they did not disappoint! Karina and Bruno helped me pick the perfect menu for my guests and were extremely accommodating. Everything was ready on time and picking up at the shop was really easy. Can’t wait for my next event or dinner with friends to order again and again. ++ The store always has specialty products and their home-made MANGO HABANERO sauce is a MUST for your kitchen. If this is in stock, grab one.. or two seriously. Thank you Karina and Bruno!

This place has amazing sandwiches. Fresh and homemade. To finish off we had some English scones which were also amazing. Thanks for your service and hospitality.

Believe me when I say— you need to try this place. The sandwiches are amazing and they have deals every Friday that are out of this world! I would recommend 100% plus the customer service is so friendly : You won't be disappointed!

Amazing lunch spot with a great ambience! All made fresh by the young Italian owners! Came in here for a bite and had the most delicious eggplant parm sandwich - la petite Italie ! Sooo yummy. Topped it off with a smooth espresso macchiato & fresh biscotti. My new Saturday afternoon go to.
