Foodland - Wiarton

My husband and I often stop by Wiarton Foodland to grab lunch or supper when passing through, and we’ve always enjoyed the experience. On our most recent visit, we were helped by a new employee at the hot food station. I wish we had gotten his name, but he was absolutely fantastic! He’s a friendly, chatty guy who recently moved to the area and started working there. Instead of shouting over the counter, he came out to assist my husband personally. His warm and welcoming attitude really stood out—it felt more like we were talking to a friend than just a customer service interaction. A great experience! We hope to see him again the next time we're there.

Very clean, bright and we'll organized store with friendly helpful staff throughout. Mobility parking right out front of their spacious parking lot. It's a rare occasion that they are out of stock on sale items, but if the are, are happy to give a raincheck. Been here a few times and never been disappointed. Go, shop and be happy!

The owners, Tom and Stephanie, are unscrupulously greedy.nnEveryone knows this location is already more expensive than other Foodland locations.nnOn top of that, they jack up their prices each summer to cash in on tourists and the price never goes back down.nnNo one should get away with shamelessly exploiting their community like these two do.

We were there on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving long weekend. Anita was our cashier. She did a great job, went above and beyond. Thanks so much

Very nice store, lots of choices. They have lots of freshly made food options too. Very good location.
