Always friendly and helpful. Enough variety to make a choice. Prices ok. But well worth shopping local.
I was in and picked up stuff for BBQ last night for supper. I did see a lot of things there. Even dog, puppy, cat and kitten food.
Really expensive but it's convenient not to have to drive to the bigger cities. I only go if I need one or two things. Wouldn't do full grocery shopping there.
Their bread products are not worth taking to the dump. Hot dog buns stuck to the bag and collapsed from their own weight and bread that needs to be displayed standing on the loaf end so it doesn't collapse. Best before dates extending 10-12 days when it is stale on the shelves. It appears like they are receiving their bread frozen and placing on displayed as rewuired to fill shelves
It great small grocery store in a small town. Selection is slightly limited but the staff are small town friendly and great
The food is WAY over priced and only have a day or so before meat is expired. I bought hamburg yesterday and today i threw it out due to the stink of rotten meat and turning dark. Its not the first time. I keep spending my hard earned money there due to living so close. I feel bad for seniors that have no choice but to shop there. Now ive made the decision that Ive spent my last $ at this store. Never again. I will drive to sobeys in town and buy fresh food.
There is Literally at any time of any day expired product out to be sold. Go ahead, check. I have personally had trouble with multiple members of the staff including the current owner of the store. I refuse to give them my business as I have been ignored as a customer several times and it is way overpriced for less than fresh product. If I could rate it less than one, I would.
A local stop for all your necessities. This grocery store provides the only convenient stop for many items between Sussex and Salisbury. They will even help you carry your items to your car when in need. Always top notch service.
