The staff are wonderful just the prices are horrendous. Always spend 30+ dollars even if getting a few things! Theres parking is awful. Theres people who park and go somewhere else taking up all the parking. That should be addressed and enforced absolutely ridiculous. Should also open up the other end thats on highway 7 as a exit only to help congestion on the other end due to stop light changing quickly.
If I could leave a zero I would. I have drove 20 min to buy what your site says is on sale. And it seems to be the norm that the on sale stuff is NEVER in stock, and you do not offer rain checks. This sucks big time.
I normally go to Campbellford or Peterborough for my groceries and decided to try here again, and will most likely not be coming back.nnThe pricing here is absolutely outrageous. Several items I was looking for were well over double the price other stores are charging. Ie Frozen precooked sausage patties @12.49 here, $6-8 elsewhere. It is well worth the trip to Peterborough or Campbellford as the stores have more selection, lower prices, and more tills. It is sad they charge such jacked up prices when they are the only option for many in town.
Large, well maintained grocery store. Lots of selection, great sales, a lot of parking available. Open late for a small town loke Norwood. Thank goodness for that, I was able to grab a snack and some advil for my trip home to Woodville : Very friendly staff too.
Typical smaller foodland location and more expensive prices. Staff is friendly, store is clean.
