Foodland - Little Current

It's a nice little shop with all the essentials including a selection of dried herbs and some spices. The produce is sometimes super fresh and other times not so much. Prices tend to be a bit on the higher side. Overall a good store!

This small outlet of Foodland has a great Deli selection of daily fresh sandwiches and other foods! They bake their own doughnuts too, by the way, along with other [sweet] baked treats. You will not be disappointed.

Friendly staff, fresh vegetables and fruit. Great prices and....awesome steaks too. Great small town store. And here's a tip Laura makes the best gift baskets ever. Who knew...

Update: After the initial post The Foodland manager phoned me to apologize and has since made amends. So I will update my initial response and add two stars for resolution on this issue. I feel the response was a proper one. ~~~ i went into the store to buy some water, and I have mask exemptions, and was immediately accosted for not wearing one. Despite carrying the actual updated regulations which prove exemptions are still in place and which cannot be taken out of effect for any reason, since it is a violation of human rights to force someone to inflict injury upon themselves, they refused to look at the actual regulations or respect my exemptions. and I was asked to leave, and told not to come back without a mask. I will not shop there again.

You can park 10' from the door, they have food. It's not Costco FFS, but that's a good thing! It Little Current. Good in-store made products. I really like it.

Haven't been buying wings but before I stopped because of the treatment of chickens. Made me sad to eat broken bones, bruised, fat wings. The wings weren't ready early like around 10, they are now. Other than that it's always a good experience.

Mindemoyas treadure. This is by far, so far, the BEST, cleanest, helpful grocery store to shop. A personal island favorite. It central to all locations, everthing is fresh. A little crazy busy in the summer as they have the best reputation yet. Lol coming from a year round resident. In the near vicinity, just steps away, there is a wholesome artisan bakery, and tea garden with afternoon and evening entertainment just steps away too.
