Foodland - Kirkland Lake

Beautiful store. I used to live down south and this store had alot of things I thought I wouldn't be able to find. Great hot food for lunch.

customer service is awful. staff are rude. put my bike inside the front doors so it wouldn’t get stolen and it was moved by one of the staff, and he was very rude to me when told not to put my bike there anymore. instead of asking me nicely not to put it there, he raised his voice at me and demanded me to not put it in there.

Owners and staff are always very friendly and they are great community ambassadors

Usually good service. However irritated that I drove there at 9:15 as times were updated on Google 5 days ago and changed to 8am to 10pm every day. Clearly that is false as I got there and was told it's still 9 and they are aware it says 10 and have already had multiple complaints but the owner still hasn't changed it.

Went camping up in KL. Many products were expired including meat, bread and produce. The broccoli we bought expired 12 days previous and we didn't notice. Lovely surprise at dinner time when you're already at Esker. More quality control needed. Someone is asleep at the wheel.

Prices sure are high, $8.49 for a small thing of ground pepper? Incan buy a large bulk pack for that... Compared to the competition pricing wise I'll goto the competition. $1.50 difference in the same fresh baked croissants same size/amount.. that $$ adds up... Spent $75 got $50 worth. So I guess shop around but now I know why this place is small and not as busy as the other places...

Certain staff members clearly did not want to be there and man did they show it. However, bravo to the small amount of staff that had good people skills. Other than that, prices were pretty high compared to similar stores in town. One positive is that out of the small amount of stock they have, there is a good variety.

Little over priced compared to other foodlands was not happy manager diesnt order enuff bags had to put grocies all over interior of truck every other store would of got some from other stores since all of them owned by loblaws or charge same price for cotton one yur mistake not costimers

I don't know what it is. Maybe the sketchy fellers hanging outside at night or the gloomy atmosphere. But shopping here is depressing.
