Foodland - Annapolis Royal

I like the products at Foodland. The prices hurt a wee bit. Really nice people work there and work hard. But the store feels sad and depressing. Every time I’ve gone in there I leave feeling like the experience could have been brighter. I’m not sure if it’s lighting- cramped space or decor.

Just got small stuff. Cashier saw some sweets I was getting had an issue. She gave me a choice get another if I wanted. I was too lazy, so I kept the one I got. She gave me 1/2 off. No Manager contact. Very nice of her.

Someone suggested going to Foodland for a slab of salmon. The meat manager let me know their shipment was coming later that day. They put some aside for me. Very grateful for that. The salmon was fresh not frozen and very delicious!nAll of the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back.
