Great store. Good produce and nice selection in the foreign food isle. I was there on December 13 at 1:23pm. My cashier Rita #122, was amazing! The store was very busy and her reciept machine went down. While waiting for another very busy staff member to come fix it she was kind, calm and cool...very friendly! CHEERS RITA. You are doing a great job. Thank You.
The upgraded store is great once you get used to finding where everything is. Prices are better then alot of other grocery stores but still difficult for seniors living on a pension. We have to pick and choose carefully,and leaving out things that are important is difficult. Fruits and vegetables and some meats are passed by because of the cost,so you do without.
The store now caters to all nationalities. But to find things you'd think would be there are in a total different place. I was looking for water bottle flavors. The cashier suggested places but I didn't see them. Should be where you buy the bottle water or In the juice aisles, nope not there hmm.
We drive from Bobcaygeon to shop here as our local grocery stores are bonkers expensive. I mean, $8 for a head of lettuce? No. What is this, the Yukon? A head of lettuce is $5 at Food Basics, which is still expensive but not as bad as other stores. I think I'll use that $3 I'm saving and buy a package of lettuce seeds. I like salad.
The renovation has really brightened up the store with wider isles. The range of products seems even larger and prices are very competitive. Everything is easy to find. Lovely patient & kind cahiers. I love this store
Great improvement after recent reno, wider aisles, lots of variety in the products, finally beer is here. Store staff is okay in terms of service, not the happiest bunch but hey its retail who cares lol Some more work to be done so will be interesting to see what else they get

I am very disappointed with food basic in Lindsey Ontario. I have been there three times now and the customer service is awful. And the store was not clean it was very messy. I won't be returning to there.
Great prices, good well known brands, sales weekly, the Lindsay location has just, or is in the midst of a huge renovation, making it a bigger store with more to offer. Also sells alcohol at this location, with dedicated check outs for alcohol sales. Helpful friendly staff
Great prices. I can see the difference in my grocery bill compared to places like Loblaws. One thing….. if you have free wifi make sure it works. I can’t get a signal to save my life in here. When I try to use my data, no signal at all.
