Food Basics is your standard grocery store. It's a bit bigger than it looks from the outside. Like the name says, it has just about everything you need, decent prices as well. The staff was very helpful as well. I asked a young lass working there for some assistance, she happily obliged.nnCheers!
I shopped at Food Basics weekly and liked it. These couple of weeks brought home 2 melons and some chestnuts $4.99/lb also grapefruit that was in a netting bag and all of them were bad. Also the bagged grapefruits were bad and I had to everything out. It is very unacceptable charging customers full price for rotten produce! Also customers trust their grocery store to provide fresh produce and these were far from it!
This food basic is clean and doesn’t have many people. Things are easy to find and cheaper than other supermarkets out there.
They couldn't be bothered to post the correct hours and not only me but multiple other customers showed up just as they all drove off. Get it together.
