I had popped in to grab some items for a friend. This is normally not my to go store.nThey had some of the items I wanted and I thought I’d look around see what else is there.nI saw the manager or assistant manager have a conversation with a customer that was not pleasant. Customer care was not within his means. I do think after reading some reviews and comments about this store. It spoke about the management in a few. This should definitely be addressed. Perhaps the managers need to be retrained or reminded that the store will not exist if it was not for their customers. Therefore each one should be given the respect and treated with dignity. Customer care seems to be the thing when it was observed at this store.nWhatever we are going through that day should not be taken out on customers.nThis maybe one of the food basics I may not be revisiting again. I do hope they take all the comments from all the others reviews and addresses it.
The prices are good but check the produce carefully! A lot of times it’s rotten and doesn’t belong on the shelves. I’ve been going to this location for years. The experience was always great and the staff was friendly. I’ve seen a large change over in staff. They obviously lost a lot of caring staff. Manager should be observing the staff! Start handing out terminations. Far too many times, shelves are empty and the checkout is running at 50% on a good day. Unacceptable!
Warring!! Check your product for quality because they don’t do it for you !!! Poor quality product and poor customer service, check the expiration date of every item you purchase from this location, I purchased my groceries and spent over $200.00 dollars and when I tried to use the cheese I noticed it’s expired and I went to the store 45 minutes drive from my house and I spoke with gentleman named DRE HEOD he said he’s assistant store manager and he told me I can only replace it or refund it and I asked him what about my time and cost of fuel and he said I don’t care it’s not my problem!!! In my opinion a qualified manager would never speak with a customer like this and the girl at the cash register behind him was laughing and he didn’t do anything about it, I would never recommend a company who treats their customers like this, unprofessional, rude people working in this location to anyone and I am not going to shop there again !!!,
Centrally located, you can access from public transit or driving. Plenty of parking, accessible as well.nnThe store has good lighting, ample aisles. Generally speaking, well stocked but with some not-so- stocked shelves.nnI usually come here for the vegetables and because they have International food aisles. I find Asian, Caribbean, Middle East specialties.nnMeats are not my favourite to buy here but hey are all right.nnThere is a pharmacy inside and a small self checkout area.
It's about what you would expect. Good items. Regularly merchandised. I just wish the floor was cleaned more often.
