The Food Bank of Sweetwater County provides supplemental food for unemployed and low income families at two sites, The Green River Food Pantry and The Rock Springs Food Bank. The Green River Food Pantry serves the Residents of Green River, Jamestown, Granger, Little America, and McKinnon. The Rock Springs Food Bank serves the residents of Rock Springs, Farson, Eden, Reliance, and Highway 430 South.
To provide the resources necessary to feed the hungry throughout
Sweetwater County, to support our staff and volunteers, to raise
awareness of our program in the community, and to ensure accountability
to our supporters and clients.
Food is received from local food drives, USDA commodities, donations from the community. Food is also purchased through grants and monetary donations.
