The good was delicious. I recommend the "touch a tout". Although when I woke up the next morning, I ended up troughing up that meal. I had food poisoning. I was not fun. Eat at your own risk.
Loved this place. Reasonably priced with a bring your own wine option. The cheese fondue was spectacular and the Chinese fondue was very nice as well. I recommend one table d'hôte for two people as it includes one appetizer and one dessert. The rabbit confit appetizer was delicious as was our hazelnut fondue at the end.
This is a fondu restaurant. My experience has been that you always share when eating fondu. When we said ,of course we are sharing, we were told that it would be an additional $17, which included a 2nd plate of vegetables. No where on the menu was that written. There was listings to buy additional portions of protein but you HAD to buy 2nd plate,if sharing. We wanted the table d'hote but that meant only one appetizer and one coffee and dessert, if ordering only one fondu dish! . Which was all we wanted. We ordered the salmon and fennel salad as an appetizer an additional $3 as it was not part of the appetizer with the table d'hote} . The salad came but no additional plate for us to share it. It was delicious , but it should have been listed as fennel and salmon, as you almost needed a magnifier to find the tiny bits of salmon! Meantime, our 3 friends with us, got their meat fondu before their cheese fondue, which they wanted to have as their appetizer while we had our salad. So, in the end, by the time they got it, we were finishing our meat fondu which we got the wrong meat mix at the first delivery and had to have it switched. All this, and on top of which, it was so noisy that we couldn't have a conversation and the poor waiter had to repeat things several times, as he tried to explain how the menu worked! Our friends ended up canceling their meat fondu, as they were discouraged by the whole experience and also didn't want us to wait ,as they hadn't received their meat fondu!
Always perfect food and service. Bring your own wine...even better. The best fondue place we've been to.
I wish I could share details but the front "cafe restaurant " portion of the business has an aggrevating, rude incompetant person working and for the second time trying to eat there I was greeted by nothing less than a bridge troll, that looked like she was going to demand my first born in exchange for seat and a menu.
Absolutely magnificent. The waitress was very friendly in explaining to us in English the menu and how to eat the fondue style meals.
It was our first date night since the pandemic began. Service; impeccable. Our server was attentive, knew the menu and had excellent suggestions. The food; delicious. Not a scrap left on my plate. Decor; warm, intimate. Highly recommend. Wide variety of meat. Will definitely be back!
Excellent service, food was really good
Considering we pay a lot of money to cook our own food, I'd say it was a pretty good experience overall with decent appetizers. Our waitress was not very attentive and didn't even pour the wine. I was unimpressed with the quality of the beef. However, this is a quality restaurant that does not deserve fewer than 4 stars despite my complaints. The atmosphere is nice and the experience is fun. I just think it's pricey for what it is.
Great place.Food was great. Atmosphere very good. It gets loud as the evening goes on. Bring your own wine! No corking fee You can try alot of diffrent meats, kangaroo,Elk,ostrich ....and the normal stuff,beef,pork,chicken and seafood. The salted caramel fondue was amazing. A popular place.Make a reservation. Worth the visit.
