"We opened in 2017 in the rural city of Ellsworth, Maine.We brew farmhouse ales, Saisons, sours, herbed/spiced ales, IPAs, lagers, pilsners, stouts, porters, and tripels — any of which might be aged in barrels as part of our barrel program. Went with my partner for the first time today. We are on vacation and just happened to be staying close by. I love love love it here! Great IPAs. My favorite being the Extra. Plenty of outside seating. The pizza oven is a great touch. Clean, comfortable and quaint space to enjoy some local beers.
Great atmosphere and good beer. No changing table for our little one, but they are dog friendly. Would recommend
10/21/22 Had a flight of 3 beers - cost more than 3 individual 5 oz pours - when I mentioned the price difference, the young lady said they did not usually have $3 pours and changed nothing. Beer was fine, Ciders were ok. Customer Service ?? Had an opportunity to visit another Fogtown in Bar Harbor but skipped it due to this poor experience. #VickieTravelz
A 75% solar powered, use their own spent grains for pizza, local brewery in downtown Ellsworth. What’s not to love? The staff is great! Indoor outdoor seating. Live music. A real local vibe. And a company that cares about its community. What a great addition to Ellsworth!
We were looking for a place to taste some good sour craft beers while walking around Bar Harbor. We ended up at the Fogtown, and it was perfect! My husband had the sour beer, and I had a tasting rack of the sour beer and their three ciders. All were so very good!! As for the service, Dan and Sam were awesome! Very friendly, all smiles and funny. Would definitely recommand!
We came for a beer and ended up staying for their beer, wine and pizza. We had the Elote pizza and it was really delicious! Then their band started playing at 5:30 and they were fantastic! Unique seating options outside and on a Thursday night it was packed. Great experience!
Cute atmosphere and great beers for my husband! I’m more of a wine person and loved the rose. I tried the white wine and didn’t love it so I went in to purchase another rose instead and they gave it to me free of charge since I didn’t like the white and were so kind. Also, absolutely love their logo/branding.
Had the Munich beer, good beer. On-site pizza was good. Even got a glass for home, cheers.

Very good beer our favorite was Maine Coast IPA! Great spot in Bar Harbor to have a few drinks, people watch or play a game! Be sure to say hi to Jessie- she made our visit that much better!!
