Great service! The larger ferry is brand new. Arrived right on time and left right on time as well. If you are given option for a smaller ferry and are in a rush, take it. Even after stopping at change islands, you would arrive earlier than the bigger ferry. Make sure to get in a line up way in advance.

Gogo Island has to be the most friendly place on earth. On the ferry to Island not one but 3 different people afforded to wait upon docking to show me where to camp our RV. Two invited us home for a lip smacking meal. We took them up on their offers. Upon arrival to the island not 300 feet from the ferry we saw up to 8 caribou, road side. The one lad Richard let us park in his laneway for the night and the next morning took us on his 🦀 boat. We helped out and his mother of 93 cooked up a splendid meal. Down to earth people. The next day, Andrew drove us in his car to every nook and creamy of his birth place island home. Could not have paid for a better way. The people of Fogo go out of their way to make a person feel like home... can't tell you how much this part of the world exceplfis what down East and Canada is all about. You have to go there to feel it..itsfor real. Five big stars.

Crew and staff are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. The vessel is state of the art and provides comfortable seating, a controlled climate, lookouts and outside seating. There is also a small canteen which is staffed by local businesses found on Fogo Island. Unfortunately​, the ferry is prone to mechanical issues, severe wind and/or ice and can be frequently delayed. Always call ahead to check the schedule! During the busy tourists season it would be in your best interest to arrive at the Farewell terminal at least 1 to 1.5 hours ahead of the run. The terminal has a seating area and restrooms, but has fallen into disrepair - be prepared for a long wait in your vehicle.

Fast and efficient, the larger newer 72-car ferry that serves Fogo Island, it is more comfortable than the older 30-car ferry that also stops at Change Islands.

Nice new boat to Fogo. Timely departures. Overall a positive experience. If you're directed to park on the 2nd level it can be a challenge to drive up the narrow ramp.
