The ambience is super relaxed at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great. You don't always expect to find these small restaurants but it was a very pleasant experience. We ordered the Penne Pollo pasta dish with mushroom / chicken in a creamy tomato sauce and the Alfredo chicken. They were both cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. For dessert we got the almond crunch cake and it was amazing.
A cozy little spot with a very cheap price for the quantity and quality of food! I had the carbonara and chose the soup of the day for my appetizer your choice of soup or salad with a main dish for $18. The soup that day was a lentil puree and it was very comforting. The carbonara was very good as well and a hefty portion at that! I wish there was more bacon, but all in all, very satisfied with the food. The service was superb and our waiter was very friendly. He was constantly checking in to see how we were doing and provided his recommendations since it was our first time. Highly recommend if you prefer to not venture up to Yorkville for expensive pasta
Got the Spaghetti Carbonara and it's delicious. Its a cozy little restaurant just off of Yonge with a nice Hostess/waiter. I highly recommend it.
Delicious food! small cozy place the chef was amazing and it’s a very homey warm feeling in this restaurant
The perfect little place for nice I real Italian pasta , spaghetti... I ate an awesome carbonara...
Delicious food at super reasonable prices! I work nearby and was looking for a healthy option to grab a quick lunch. Focaccia does both take-out and dine-in - there is ample seating inside the restaurant, and the ambiance is very homey and pleasant. Service is super nice and the staff are very friendly as well. If you live or work nearby, you'll appreciate their accessibility and delicious food - check them out!
Definitely a good place for lunch especially in the summer on their patio
My boyfriend and I went to this amazing Italian restaurant about an hour ago and we were AMAZED with the whole experience. The food was incredible, the prices were extremely reasonable and the service was exceptional. We had the pleasure to have Jordi as our server and he was very helpful with our choices. The atmosphere was so amazing. We did call about 15 minutes before we got there and we got the only window, candle lit dinner seat. When we did call, he said they were going to take very good care of us and they did keep their promises and we were extremely happy. We are for sure going to be back over and over again.
Focaccia is a small restaurant you might miss if you aren't looking for it~ but look! The food is wonder comfort food. I had the spaghetti with the sausage and tomato; it was spicy and wonderful. Exactly what I needed after a long day. This is one of those places that supports the theory "don't judge a book by its cover". Service was outstanding as it has been over the years. Food was excellent and we are looking forward to returning. Always a pleasure to dine here.
What is up with the positive reviews? Do people have no standards or perhaps no taste buds? I decide to checkout this place due to promo on my ritual app. I ordered eggplant Parm sandwich. The breading on the eggplant was soggy, they decided to pour sauce on the whole thing, which made the bread a soggy mess. Everything was bland. It was literally bland on bland on bland. And for some reason they decided to put the salad beside the sandwich in the same container so it made it even more soggy and made the salad warm.... I threw out most of it. I originally thought it's be okay since they got a couple of Italian grandmas working the kitchen but I was wrong. This was probably the worst "North American style" Italian food I've ever had definitely not authentic Italian if you've ever been to Italy. Oh yeah, the place looked dark, dingy, and run down. I really should have known better. I'll never returned and wouldn't eat their food again even if you pay me.
