Flying Steamshovel Cold Bear

Really enjoy every visit to the Steamshovel over the years. The food has been consistently good: flavourful, fresh, and with a decent selection. I had the poke bowl and it was awesome. The nachos were also pretty solid, and the little details make the difference is there a little lime in the sour cream to add that fresh taste?. There is a solid craft beer selection, which definitely helps. The staff are friendly. The only down-side I’ve got is that some family/friends have commented that it can be pretty noisy indoors pre-pandemic, but that’s to be expected with most bustling similar venues.

We had a great dinner with a small group of friends. Food was pretty good, cocktails were great. Would be 5 stars if food came out a bit qicker, felt like we waited a really long time as did the tables around us.
