Denny's doesn't open till 6 am because Fort Erie is "a retirement community". The store has a miserable selection of breakfast sandwiches and none without cheese for the lactose intolerant (about 60% of the population). Lounge outlets are non-functional. They've provided the wrong sized chairs to sit at the "counter" and string an extension cord to a working outlet. In a truckstop that is full almost every night with rafts of do-it-yourself parkers, they REALLY are not attentive to their customers' needs. I'm sure they, and their retiree community, would be the first to complain if their stuff wasn't delivered on time

The people working here to clean things up like showers etc are not motivated. Slow and not good cleaners.. the place is nice but the crew .. 5 showers were doors open and not cleaned in the morning and the parking was not even a ⅛ filled with trucks..

I don't mind stopping here before the border but they have to get someone to enforce the parking better. This has happened to me before. If you park on the west wall close to the building. Expect to be pinned in for the morning. There are two open spots either side of me but no. To lazy to take the time to park the truck. Note all those trucks are not in spots.

I find all Flying J to be clean and bright and this is no exception. It's a shame they seem to be linked to Dennys!
