We provide OVERNIGHT service as well, and can stay at your home for 12 hrs.

Pet CPR and First Aid certified. We can do sub q fluids and insulin shots.

I would totally recommend Flying Duchess. I’ve been using them for a few years now and it is such a peace of mind to have someone caring for your furry babies while you’re away. Jacqueline is the best, she’s very caring and I always look forward to my daily report. Knowing my girls are in good hands makes my vacation much more enjoyable. I was recommended this service by a friend and so happy I called them. The pet sitter I have used several times is lovely. She’s so caring for my pets and sends detailed messages daily when I’m away. Both administration and the Sitter are easy to communicate with and genuinely nice people! I totally trust Flying Duchess with my pets whilst I’m away.
We've used Flying Duchess' pet sitting services for a few years now for our two cats and would happily recommend them! Jacqueline has been a great cat sitter and after a long break from visits during the pandemic and changes with one of our kitties health status asthma, she took a lot of notes and even reached out to get any feedback on improving administering her inhaler. We've never had to think twice about having to leave them alone for a weekend or a few weeks knowing how reliable she is, so thank you! :
I have an African grey parrot which requires special care that is we can’t find from regular pet sitters. Jacqueline has been such an incredible and reliable sitter who has been worry free. Whenever we go on vacation she makes us feel comfortable and confident that our pet is well taken care, safe and getting attention. I highly recommend Flying Duchess for pet sitting!!!
The person who took care of my cat while I was away Cindy did an amazing job! While I was on vacation there was a major snow storm in Toronto and they still travelled to my condo to take care of my cat! They also provided me daily updates and put my mind at ease that my cat was in good hands! Flying duchess will be there for your pet rain or shine or snow!! We have had Jillian at Flying Duchess taking care of our cats a few times. Jillian has been very reliable, and her reports of what our cats are doing that day has been very comforting while we're away. We know the cats are getting lots of love, pats, and playtime, in addition to their regular food etc. when Jillian comes over. Jillian also is great about keeping the cat dishes and feeding areas tidy. Even our most timid cat will come out from hiding for a treat and some play time when Jillian is there! We highly recommend both Flying Duchess and Jillian!
Jacqueline has provided excellent in-home care for our cats Lavender and Hermione several times over the last few years. She has many great qualities: loving and kind to the cats, and also very professional and reliable.
Flying Duchess has provided excellent care for our pets, including a cat that required daily insulin injections. The communication with the pet sitter is very good, we like getting daily updates. We have peace of mind while on vacation knowing that our pets are in good hands.
TLDR: Paid for the more expensive 45 minute daily check-in service. Don't think the pet sitter actually came as often as we paid for considering that our cat lilly had no food, no water, threw up all over the apartment from being neglected, and the throw up was dried up as if it was days old. the pet sitter also didn't water our hydroponic growing system which caused the pump to break. Management also won't answer our emails or provide an explanation. --- long time customer ~3 years, but not anymore. having a poor experience with one of their pet sitters is forgivable, but getting ignored by management when voicing a concern is not. We have been looking for answers for over a month for a poor experience we had with one of their cat sitters, and we have received no response. For those unfamiliar, flying duchess sends over a pet setter to check on your furry friend and water your plants while you are gone. We told them about our cat Lilly's needs, explained to them that we had automated water/food feeders that need to be refilled, and that we had a hydroponic growing system google nutritower for growing herbs and veggies that needs regular watering. We provided instructions on how to perform these tasks. My wife and I went on a trip and requested their services for about 8 days. Usually we would get the 30minute service, but they only had the more expensive 45min service available so we got that instead. Usually the pet sitter would provide daily updates via voice messages. I think they may have changed their system from the previous time we used their services, because we were not able to access the messages on our phones anymore. Apparently, the only way to access the voice messages is via a desktop computer. We tried to email and contact management but we were not able get anyone to help us hear the messages. We went the entirety of the trip without hearing any status updates or knowing how our Lilly was doing. Had there been an emergency, there was no way for us to know. When we returned from our trip, we came home to an absolute mess in our condo. 1. The cat sitter took a pregnancy test and left everything on the bathroom counter. 2. Lilly's food dispenser which holds enough food for 1 week was completely empty 3. Lilly's water was empty which holds enough water for a few days 4. Lilly threw up everywhere and it was not cleaned up. There were fresh vomit and dried up old vomit everywhere. The vomit did not have any food in it which makes me think she was throwing up from being hungry and neglected. She was also very erratic and out of character which makes me think she was neglected for a long time. 5. Our nutritower was out of water and all our plants were wilting. The plants would need to be low on water for over a day in order to start wilting. The nutritower has about 3-4 days worth of water in the bucket so the fact that it was short on water for longer than 1 day tells me that it was neglected for a long time. 6. Due to #5, the pump was running dry and eventually gave out. It was much louder than usual until it officially broke last week. I just purchased a new pump on Thursday before everything closed on Canada day. My wife and I have sent numerous emails to the flying duchess management but we have not received any response or explanation. Based on the condition the house was in when we arrived home, I would not be surprised if the pet sitter did not even go over to check on our place as often as we paid for.
