I always enjoy my visits to this historic building. Every community should have a historic gathering place for events. Is it perfect? Nope. Needs more bathrooms. Sounds system is always a challenge. But that doesn't matter. It's our community gathering place with a rich sense of history. And that matters in a world where 'newness' is valued as better and we struggle to feel connected despite all our modern convenient ways to go on information/sharing overloads!
This large, historical hall was a great venue for the Snow Goose Festival. The high ceiling of the first floor hall easily handled the numerous vendors and visitors. There are volunteers that set up and clean up for the events. They were friendly and responsive to our needs and offered delicious soup for sale to event birdwatchers as they came in from the cold.
Very nice old building well maintained. An historical place, large and has a piano and kitchen
Very cool historic building. Rally neat to attend a holiday party in, the decor was very festive.
The shell fish dinner was great and speakers were informative
Went to SnowGoose Festival at Floyd saw some artworks of birds and a few live birds
Old building but host local music programs from time to time. Support local musicians.
My kids enjoyed it we had a good time
A pleasant place to hang out with friendly and informed people.
