This was my first time coming to Flex Brewhouse. Great experience, the chairs were super comfortable, the staff was pleasant, & the prices were reasonable. You can get refreshments before you enter the theater, or you can order once your inside the theater. If you order with the wait staff they adomaticly add 18% for gratuity. Fun times, check it out..
I LOVED THIS!!!! The whole idea is just super cool. Kids and family would love this. The beer is actually pretty good. The food is actually good as well. The service was nice and the space was clean. The seats and seating area is so comfy. I also didn’t think the prices were that bad. My only complaint is that they were out of a few things and they never came back to get our dirty dishes for us.
Very fun experience. Great beer. Delicious food. The service is very good and fast. Seating is incredibly comfortable and I really like the decoration. Their film Fests are a must. All in all a really recommendable place to enjoy movies, beer and food.
Went to the Boondock beer fest tonight. Never seen the movie before. It was amazing! The beers. Amazing. Loved them! Our server I think his name was Jason phenomenal friendly, very outgoing. We tipped him 50 bucks between three of us the food not a fan popcorn is an appetizer boo, you would think with it being Saint Patrick’s Day, it would’ve been more of a corn beef, Reuben and the french fries not good at all and the burger was just kind of OK
Nice modern theater. Food is a little pricey adult meals around $15, $9 for kids meals but is decent quality, portions are a little smaller than a regular restraunt but not tiny. When you consider that can get away with buying less candy for your kids since they're getting a real meal not bad.
I can't deliver the stars that are justified. Frozen pipe burst half way through a 210min avatar showing. I'm just happy to watch the rest of the movie and then I realized the staff stayed an extra 50 min late for our convenience. I'm totally floored by getting actual customer service in America today. But on top of that we received several comps. Above and beyond is the only way to describe the effort by the staff tonight. This review alone should warrant a raise for the exceptional attitude from the entire staff that worked late to accommodate the guests for an inconvenience no one was responsible for.
It was a good experience, and the waitress would've gotten a better tip if they didn't automatically charge an 18% gratuity. Gratuity is a tip, you earn tips, I have had several jobs making $4-$6/hr hoping for tips. Never once did I find it acceptable to force a tip on a patron, nor did I feel entitled to a specific size tip. The better the service, the better the tip, unless you force me to tip, then I'm not giving anything additional to your forced price. And in this case, the tip I was forced to pay was 7.37, and I'd intended to leave $15 cash. So it would've been a lot better than 25% My apologies to the waitress, your company's policy cost you money.
9 times out of 10 I see a film at Flix. My friends and I have a Facebook group for this specific location in which we all plan which films to see throughout the year. You can tell things haven't been easy since it reopened after the pandemic and changes to seating, menu, ticketing & staffing were made. That being said, it is still my favorite place for movies. From the bar staff to the theater staff I have gotten nothing but pleasantries. The food isn't 5 star but definitely good enough if you are hungry, and the staples of popcorn/candy/soda are always present. If you drink alcohol there is always something stellar to try on the menu in that respect. The 10-Day Scottish Ale is my favorite. You should enjoy your theater going experience here and Flix Brewhouse. Check them out and be sure to follow them for regular specials and movie showings that provide a little something for every movie lover both young and old.
I went to a horror fan fest screening tonight. I wanted to enjoy my time, but I was getting frustrated because I had to wait the entire film to get a drink refill. I had to submit the order three times and finally got it 10 minutes before the movie ended. I’m not writing this review to bash Flix Brewhouse, I’m writing it because it used to be better. I’m seeing two more films this week and I hope I don’t experience the same problems.
Service is ok if you want to enjoy the conversations of the staff over the movie. mandatory 18% tip on overpriced meals is ridiculous. Bottomless popcorn with limits of 2 bowls due to server timing of bringing the popcorn was unable to eat the second bowl due to placement directly under servers arm pit . Miss pre covid brewflix. I see why streaming is truly the way to go now. This theaters scene is similar to K&B toys DOA.
