Flirty Bird Nashville Hot Chicken

The sandwich was okay. The heat is under stated. The chicken strips seem to have a different breading that the sandwich was high seemed like it had too much dryness/flour and was a little dough like. Of three meals they serve the chicken sandwich is the best. The place is exposure to comparable experiences. Quality of the chicken meat itself was excellent, felt premium.

Great experience! The hot chicken sandwich was delicious but medium spicy was too much for me! They weren't kidding when they said this is the spiciest chicken in Canmore! Get mild if you're not sure. The macaroni salad is too sweet! The fries are too salty! Other than that, awesome flavours!

Friendly staff. Heat advisory available in detail. Good sized portions. Not too long of a wait for food. Items made fresh when ordered.

My opinion is that it was very delicious. I like the combination of the pickle, the slaw and the Fries with the chicken and sauce. It was a delicious experience, but be aware with the spice. Maybe for some people Med can be even too hot. Personally I like hot chicken and that was for myself a really nice spice. For the people, who like extreme hot try the "scorchin hot" flavour. That will burn your mouth and maybe another time again something else

Great chicken sandwich! Nice, large chicken breast, great bun and slaw, all around solid sandwich with a lot of protein at a great price. You can dial the heat from mild to literally impossible to eat. Definitely a great spot for a quick bit to eat!

My bf and I were greatly disappointed. He ordered the chicken strips and I had the sandwich and we also got a side of fries. Both orders were overly salty to the point that it was inedible. The breading was gross.. somehow they made it hard on the outside but a thick layer of dough covered the inside. We took off the breading and the chicken itself was edible but then what’s the point. The frozen Mc Cain grocery store style fries was the best part : Sad and greatly disappointed. We had to throw out most of it.

Yikes... I second what lots of other people said re: the spice level. I ordered the chicken strips; I have a high spice tolerance so I got "hot," and it was borderline inedible. It tasted nothing like actual Nashville hot chicken - just like a frozen chicken finger with the hottest dry spice blend available dumped on top. This could have just been my mistake in underestimating the heat level, and I'd have been willing to give them another shot if it was just the heat, but the chicken itself was terrible. It had way too much breading on top of thin chicken strips, so the meat was dry with a dusty/powdery/chalky exterior.

DON'T BE COCKY, DON'T GO OVER MILD! The chicken is excellent, one of the best I've ever had. But my partner had the medium spice and I got worried. He was sweating and all red. They don't mess with spice over there. But we totally recommend and would go back often if we lived in Canmore! Again, if you wanna enjoy it, go for mild.

I'm addicted. Please send help. Seriously though, I've been to this place well over 20 times since it's opened and it's the best chicken in Canmore! Relatively affordable, REALLY hot Seriously, if you can't handle spicy at most restaurants you might not want to go here... or get no spice. Even Mild is too spicy for wimps, and the staff are always friendly! The Sando is the best, but the tenders and chicken fries are really good too. The only thing that I could hope for is that they would start doing delivery, but on second thought that would probably be a bad idea for my addiction!

Second time trying this , first time the food was way to spicy for Med level , I have a high tolerance and it was just too much, decided to try again but mild , quality of the chicken was good, the thick hard doughy breading have to give that a zero , coleslaw is so bland , best part of the meal again is the pickles , very good. staff is friendly tho , also a cute little place
