Flirt Lashes

Alex and her team are amazing. Always professional and they work around my schedule. I always get compliments on any style they do and they last for weeks!!! The lashes are fantastic quality and look great even after swimming, working and my normal hectic routine. The service there by all of the girls is wonderful and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my extensions. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Honestly the BEST lash studio I've been to in Edmonton! My husband hates that I wear extensions on my lashes and even he was impressed! Which is hard to do! Wonderful work, great environment, and catered to exactly what you are looking for. Will be referring all my friends to here instead, and would most certainly recommend!

I have been there twice to have the lash lift done. They are so unprofessional from the receptionist to the owner to the employees who have obviously never been trained, but when your owner is not professional what can you be taught? I booked the first time with the owner, Alex, and showed up to be placed in a chair by a girl who never introduced herself to me or anything. Her fingers smelled of cigarette smoke. When I asked if she was Alex she said no. Then I was told Alex couldn't make it due to a family emergency. I asked to reschedule with someone with more experience. I went back and saw Melissa, a perfectly nice girl, but the conversations these girls have while working on your lashes are unbelievable. I was not told not to cover my eyes to sleep for 24hrs. So, I called in and was told Alex would fix them in a week. When I went in Alex did fix them for free which is appreciated, but I could tell she was annoyed. She has ZERO personality. The Lash Lift is fantastic though. I booked again with Alex only to get a call that I would be seeing someone else. I told them no I wanted Alex and they booked me the next day with Alex. When I got there Alex was waiting and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes and gave her my name. She told to sit and wait for a minute and proceeded to leave the salon. I was then taken to Melissa's chair which is fine, as she is good, but why ask for anyone if you don't get them. Melissa starts working on my eyes only to get a phone call from another client about perfume. She told the girl handing her the phone she was busy, but took the call anyhow and then never washed her hands before touching my eyes again. Super unsanitary. The other girl working there then came out to show Melissa pictures of her uncle pre-weight loss surgery and post and they laughed and talked about that for a minute. These girls are young and need training, but when your owner cannot even honour her appointments or show any form of good customer service then you cannot expect better from her employees. I am so unimpressed with Flirt Lashes and have been telling everyone I know not to go there. There are too many other options in the city, don't bother

*UPDATE: after posting this review, the owner contacted me personally and was great about fixing the situation. She offered to come in on her own time to do my daughter's lashes herself. This is the kind of customer service that makes a business great. Booked an appointment for my daughter's 17th birthday gift. When she showed up they told her the appointment had been cancelled and someone else was already in the chair. When I called to speak to the manager she was pretty rude and said they couldn't have made that mistake. She told me that I must have "forgotten" cancelling the appointment. Really?? I understand that this was likely a matter of the wrong customer getting cancelled, but it would have been more appropriate for the manager to apologize and try to fix it maybe instead of trying to tell me that I forgot that I may have called to cancel it. I'm not rating the quality of their work, only the poor customer service of their manager.

I’ve gotten my lashes done by a girl named Melissa. She is very rude and when she does my lashes I’m lucky if they last me a week I also follow the instructions she gives me and they still fall off. This place needs some real management.

I love this lash studio. Their work is professional and beautiful! The location is close to my work building in downtown which is very convenient. Melanie and Melissa are very talented. I would most certainly recommend.

This is the worst experience with a business I have ever encountered and I am a business consultant for local businesses. The staff is SUPER unprofessional and talk about drinking and spend more time hanging out with each other and their friends then actually doing their job. I brought this to the attention of the owner and it seems nothing has improved. They are very rude and hostile instead of trying to find resolutions for their customers. I had two sets done by two different people, the first set came out within the first day and I had to come in to see the owner to fix them, the second time I had others fall out again and followed the care instructions to a T. The voicemail states the business is open from 11am - 8pm on Monday's through Fridays and they never, ever answer the phone. They have rescheduled my appointments that I have booked - you honestly need to call them 20 times before they ever answer the phone and when they finally do, they say "That's the way it is so too bad for you". Their voicemail also states to go to their website for more information and when you do it goes to an empty domain. Super unprofessional. This business needs serious help in both management and customer service and I would HIGHLY advise against going to see them. Go to any other lash place before you come here.
