Food Learning Innovation Place FLIP Kitchens is a food hall that unofficially opened in December of 2021. It is located a short walk from North York Centre subway station. Street parking is available in front of the food hall or at nearby Impark Parking across the street. Currently four vendors occupy the food hall. These include: Bunhaus - specializes in European stuffed buns, soups, milkshakes and mini donuts Teta's Kitchen - specializes in Indonesian and Lebanese comfort food such as falafels, Rendang, Sate Ayam, and fusion dishes such as Pandan Chicken Kabab and Indo Falafel. Chic Peas - offers cool vegan cuisine such as soup, smoothies, Buddha bowls, salads, and baked goods. Da Endz - Jamaican restaurant occupying the "end" spot in the food hall, specializing in wings, oxtail and rice and peas, and fusion offerings like rasta pasta. There’s plenty of seating within the food hall and additional tables in front of the food hall. There was no washroom available within the hall itself.
This food hall is a delicious hidden gem - multiple food stalls, all serving really tasty and interesting meals and snacks! It's especially perfect if you're eating with other people who like different types of food from one another e.g. comfort food, vegan, etc because everyone can get something different. Also, I love that it's all startup food stalls, so it feels great to be supporting small/new businesses. Highly recommend!
