When food is given the attention and the creativity that has been tasted, seen and utterly enjoyed by its guests, me and a friend, I can say that this is truly a place to recommend. The food is made with love. I know this because I tasted it. Try the buttered curry it was excellent.The rooms are clean, last but not least the staff, Amon the front desk host, bartender didn’t get her name and Ky the kindest most attentive server and culinary expert you would want. I would want all three on my team! Gratitude and grace for the great welcome to your establishment!
Absolutely wonderful place! Went there with a friend for his birthday dinner and I have to got say it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time! Great meal great atmosphere and great service! Thanks guys I will be back!Food: 5/5
Honestly one of the best in town. Flavours 8 has been around for a while, and today I finally had the opportunity to stop by for lunch. The staff are so friendly and happy. I tried the spring rolls which were amazing, hot, fresh and a nice change from the traditional appetizers at most restaurants in the area. For desert I tried the tiramisu, which was also very good. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, I'd definitely return and try their breakfast or dinner options someday soon and bring my friends
The service here is amazing the food on the other hand is horrible. I have tried their poutine, butter chicken , jalapeños poppers, Poutine & Flavours 8 burger. The butter chicken had the consistency of water and tasted spicy but flour like, the poutine was dry as the gravy was fully absorbed by the fries leaving it a soggy mess. There was very little cheese of it. The Jalapeños Poppers tasted like other jalapeños and the cream cheese didn’t taste like cream cheese. The Flavours 8 burger was just 2 frozen fatty beef Pattie’s probably the cheapest ones they sell at the grocery store. High recommend not eating here unless it’s free. The breakfasts are really really good but that’s it. I’m from out of town and here working, I eat out a lot and I’m not picky but this food was probably some of the worst I have and the prices for it are crazy…
Breakfast, meat lover’s skillet lives up to its name this morning. Great portion size, eggs over top of potatoes and hardy meat as per the menu description. Vivian was a fantastic host, always attentive and never missed a coffee top up. Overall great experience, both service and food.Food: 5/5
Been coming here everyday for the last week as I’m staying in hotel right beside the restaurant and each time food has been great waitresses are very friendly and pleasant would recommend if your in Dawson creek give it a try it is awesome establishment!Food: 5/5
I tried something new after asking our waitress her favorite thing on the menu. It was the Spicy Pork Sisig. Pork belly sautéed in onions, soya, and lemon, fresh red chili and topped with egg served on a sizzling plate with rice on the side. I am so glad I did! I couldn’t eat it all but luckily my sidekick, Bob, liked it too & finished it off for me. #delicious
Was visiting Dawson Creek this weekend and saw that they had Filipino dishes and we were sold. Food was delicious, staff super friendly and an overall great experience. Wish we were in town longer to try more on the menu!
Our short weekend stay at the George Dawson Inn was made even more memorable because we had the privilege to dine at Flavours 8 restaurant located beside the hotel. The complimentary breakfast served by the restaurant was delicious with full portioning more than enough for me and my husband. For our lunch and dinner, we were lucky we don’t need to go anywhere else coz’ Flavours 8 have complete menu for Western and Asian cuisine - from eggs benny to ckn wings, salads & spring rolls, to soups, pasta and noodles, everything tasted great ! Service was awesome from the manager and the servers, thank you so much ! And to end our night on a relaxing mode, they have a lounge where we had drinks and played games with friends. What more can we ask for ? For us, Flavours 8 is the best restaurant at Dawson Creek
We had dinner at Flavours 8 on May 8, 2023. What a delight! The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious! And it didn't break the bank, superb bang for the buck.
