1st time eating here. Lunch, ordered 2 three meat platters. Tried different types of smoked meats. Brisket was moist, good and flavorful. Smoked sausage was a little dry. Pulled pork was delicious. The burnt ends were the best part of the trio. Good sides. Price was a little high for portion sizes of the side dishes.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Great barbecue! The Lemon Dill Coleslaw was deliciously cool and refreshing, a great counter to the spicy bbq sauce. The two meat platter was a large amount of food, and I’d recommend both the sausage and pulled pork. One tip, get a water jug and some cup.
Fantastic BBQ! This place is a true hidden GEM!! I've been there 5 times in the last 3 weeks no joke. I haven't tried anything I didn't like, and I am looking forward to trying everything they offer. They are my favorite BBQ in Thurston county without a doubt. My go to sandwich has pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and amazing kielbasa all piled on a hoagie roll. They have 4 different homemade BBQ sauces to choose from that are all delicious. I could keep going, but I think I've made my point. Now get yourself down, and give them a try. They are open Tuesday thru Saturday 11am to 6pm. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level easy access
We always go to rides n rods but never early enough for the food!! Tried the lil piglet and fried pickles. The pork and bun was so soft ! And the frickles we're also good! we tried 3 of the 4 sauces and the sweet with the Carolina was amazing mix on the sandwich. I'll definitely be back again soon.
This is some of the best BBQ I've had outside of Texas or St. Louis. I had the two meat combo with sides of coleslaw and mac and cheese. The two meat selection was ribs and brisket. The brisket was fork tender and was smokey goodness. The ribs fell off the bone and paired with their mustard sauce was tangy and smokey together. The mac and cheese was fairly average but the coleslaw shined being slightly different having a lemon dill dressing. Overall it was unexpected and excellent. Highly recommend.
Food is ok. But the whole place screams of laziness. You come to a counter to order, you come back to the counter to get your food. You tip before you have your food or experience "the service". I ordered the pulled pork sandwich special. It was $12+tip for a fast food burger sized $7 sandwich and $4 1/2 cup of slaw. It wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. I liked the lemon dill twist on the slaw. You're given a choice of sauce for the sandwich, I got a McDonald's level small squirt on top of the meat. Food is served with a plastic pack of cutlery, and the only beverage options are suger filled plastic bottled sodas with one sugar free tea option. It's a fast food single use hell scape. It would have been nice to get a selection of sauces on the table. My wife and I went and had the meattray with pulled pork, mac and cheese, beans, and their jalapeño cornbread. The portions they give you are the perfect amount. I had the Smokey Mac and cheese with pulled pork and the carolina gold sauce. The Carolina Gold gave it a spicy/tangy flavor that really rounded out it out. The pork was perfectly cooked and also very good. My wifes favorite part was the cornbread! She even got an extra one for me since she knew she wouldn't share hers!
O.M.G talk about good BBQ the loaded bake potato was almost as big as my head and had a ton of pulled pork on it. The pulled pork macwitch was absolutely amazing. Great service and a pretty decent selection of drinks. The pork was cooked perfectly and the sweet BBQ sauce is made in-house and has so much flavor. I went right at open and there were so many people there within an hour. Overall amazing Parking: Great parking plenty of spaces
Fantastic BBQ, great portions, great service. It's been hard to find good BBQ in the general seattle~olympia area. This one nailed it. Pulled pork was quite tasty. The corn bread was AMAZING. Try the Carolina gold sauce too! Totally worth it.
After spending 10 years in the Midwest is is hard to compare BBQs. Flaming pig BBQ knocks this out of the park. Perfectly executed Q with yummy sauce to pair with your meats. From sweet to Flaming hot . Definitely a win win. Will return.
