Flaming Claypot

Recently visited Flaming Claypot and had an outstanding experience! The service, location and food was all amazing and went beyond my expectations! The decor and presentation of food was authentic and traditional, which made the restaurant unique and original. Can’t wait to visit again!

We ordered 2x Briyani, 2x Tea & mango shake. The claypot experience was good, briyani was bit oily but tasty srilankan style briyani. We liked the flavour. We wish there was more pieces in the $16 mutton briyani, I think they should revise the price. Milk tea was just ok, but black tea was perfect accompany to spicy briyani. Overall, good experience.

I had an amazing experience here at flaming claypot! I can genuinely say that this restaurant provides the most authentic Sri Lankan dining experience that I’ve tried in the GTA. I had an opportunity to try their shrimp kothu roti, and it’s by far the best that I’ve tasted. In addition, the family behind this restaurant is so kind and takes customer service above and beyond. This place will definitely be an essential for me from now on.

Very tasty. I tried fish cutlets, mutton biriyani, and mutton curry. The food here is cooked in traditional Tamil style. Very interesting, nice location, new place, nice staff.

Food was great!! The mutton biryani was probably the best, authentic biryani I ever had! We tried the mysoor and egg dosa and both were crispy and delicious. The cutlets were also huge and very good. They also serve mango shakes and masala tea, no complaints! Overall, really great experience. The restaurant just opened recently so it was empty when we arrived with lots of space but it’s clean and the customer service was great too! Would definitely go again!

Wow wow wow the food fantastic. You can tell the chef has an amazing understanding of Sri Lankan cuisine. The presentation was also phenomenal. Thank you I am a customer for life.

Flaming Claypool has one of the chicken biriyani In the west end of the gta. Must try " good food takes time"
