The sauce is unreal here! Ordered takeout for a family lunch after having it at a friends house and everyone loved it all. The rice and potatoes were super delicious, the salad was great and the chicken and fish were amazing. The sauce is so good that we ended up putting it on other meals until it was finished. I would buy this sauce if it was bottled, it’s that good.
Chicken was moist,their hot sauce is delicious! Salads were yummy! The only real disappointment was the potatoes, nicely roasted but sooo bland. No salt/pepper/seasoning whatsoever. I'll be back but they need to adjust their seasoning.
Ordered the family sharing option 1 grilled chicken with two sides. 1 fries and 1 rice. Take a look at the fries that they gave me vs the fries I made myself at home. Unbelievable.
We ordered takeout and it was amazing!!! The chicken was so tender and delicious. We ordered potatoes, rice and bread. The hot sauce is really good!!!
Decided to give the new local place a try. Really was craving Portuguese chicken and unfortunately was left dry literally. The potatoes, rice, and chicken were all dry. No sauce on the potatoes, the rice was soaking up all the moisture in my mouth, and the chicken not only was dry but had no flavour. I was also disappointed to find there was no sauce given in the bag! My toddler's grilled cheese sandwich we made him smelled so much more appetizing. Presentation of the restaurant is nice and clean so an extra star for that, and the owner seems to care as they are responding, just a shame the food was super lackluster.
The broccoli salad is delicious. The sauce is delicious. The chicken is over-priced and not very good, avoid it. The potatoes are always dry and unseasoned, but they go really well with their sauce. Their tarts are delicious. The teenage staff all huddling around the POS while you type your PIN into the machine to pay they're checking if you're tipping is incredibly frustrating. This has been consistent during every visit in the past year.
We purchased a meal for a family of 6 and it was wonderful! The chicken was flavourful and tender. The fact they have a “mild sauce” is so appreciated! Everything was hot and tasted great. We will be back!
The chicken is delicious however been noticing the dark pieces are coming with full on feathers. A turn off to be honest on the proper cleanliness of the meat. Potatoes are undercooked most times and rice is good but sometimes under-seasoned. The medium sauce is inconsistent in heat but it’s not that big of a deal.
What a desappointment!!! When we discovered the restaurant we were happy and amazed by the food.... It changed. I always order a chicken with 2 sides..... Tonight the rice was spicy more than normal with a more prononced smell of vinegar from the hot sauce and the potato were cold. Once I saw them unwrap a container of rice and put it back on the warmer and use it to finish my order as it was the only rice left. I was so in shock that I didn't say anything. The rice was horrible that night. Another time I had a dry burnt chicken. I guess going to the restaurant at 6.30pm is too close to closing for fresh hot food.
Got takeout for dinner and it was great! The chicken had a great char and smokey flavor and the potatoes were nice with a little salt. Overall great food!Food: 5/5
