10/10!!! Flambeaux Restaurant is definitely going to be our go-to place for our Caribbean cravings. Not only was the service phenomenal, the food was to die for. Our favorite dish had to be the Jerk Chicken Pizza. Such a genius combo!! You definitely need to try the oxtail as well, believe us when we say the meat just falls off the bone We can't wait to come back!
Saw Flambeaux Restaurant on the way to Ikea and decided to try the restaurant since I’m curious with Caribbean food. Living in Canada for so long, yet I’ve never tried Caribbean food before. Decided to get the Quarter Jerk Chicken meal for takeout and loving the taste! The jerk chicken leg is succulent and has a nice aroma. If you have a knack for hot sauce, please request for their hot sauce! The hot sauce gives a yummy zing to the jerk chicken! Will I come back? Yes, I will
I was so excited to try this place as I haven't had the best luck in this area when it comes to Veggie Roti's. Once I read that this consisted of Chickpeas and Potatoes I thought FINALLY, a proper Roti! The flavor on this was good however this was by far the DRIEST Roti I have ever consumed! The portion could be bigger and to be honest there were like 4 chickpeas in entire meal. I would be willing to give them another shot if they made this with more sauce and chickpeas! This can easily turn into a 5 star review along with becoming my new go to lunch spot it you guys just sauce it up!
Just came across this restaurant and i must say the staff are amazing and welcoming and the place is very clean. The food was very fresh and tasty however- A little more heat/ flavor would make the food pop more. The packaging is perfect when picking up. I would give the restaurant 5 stars however- the taste of the food needs to be a bit stronger especially when it comes to curry sauce and beef meat. i wish this place the best of luck hopefully the taste of food changes so i can continue to support
Wow, this place is a hidden gem for jerk chicken meal. I came across their social posts and been following them for a while now. Glad that I pay a visit today. The owner and staff are friendly, and I ordered the Jerk Chicken with peas and rice for takeout. When I called ahead, I was asked my estimated arrival so they can make sure the food is still hot when I came to pick up. My order was ready precisely as estimated, so glad they asked. I just got home and the food is still hot. Great service and great food.
The quarter chicken meal tastes really good! It tastes like a home cooked meal, you can tell a lot of care goes into it. The chicken itself is very well seasoned, absolutely delicious with a bit of BBQ sauce. There's a nice selection of options too including pulled pork sandwiches and roti.
First time trying this place, and I’m extremely satisfied! Server was extremely helpful and friendly. The boneless pork stew with dumplings and the quarter chicken was excellent! Awesome choice if you’re craving for Caribbean food and you’re in the area.
Was there with a friend of mines as he works nearby. The food is amazing and the staff there really make you feel at home. We originally ordered for take-out and then decided to dine in. They brought us water in cups. A nice restaurant run by good people, that's for sure!
The service is excellent! The pictures on the website is also very good. The food does not taste like it looks. I understand you need to tone down the spicy-ness, but do not take all the flavour out. I hope you improve by adding salt and seasonings.
So HAPPY you opened in our area. Really enjoyed your beef roti wrap. Generous portion and filling. Glad you recommended the doubles. First time trying and will order again.
