This is hands down the worst gym in Vancouver — completely disorganized, irresponsible, and run by one of the most unprofessional staff teams I’ve ever encountered. From day one, it was clear that they don’t care about their members — they just want your money.nnThere’s no accountability, no clear communication, and absolutely no respect for clients’ time or concerns. If you’re thinking about joining this gym, do yourself a favor and stay away. It’s a trap — once you sign up, good luck trying to cancel or get any fair treatment.nnI deeply regret ever walking through their doors. Save your money and your sanity.nFitness World is an absolute disaster.
Extraordinarily nice and welcoming staff. Great gym. I am from overseas and looked for a good spot while I was on vacation in British Columbia. Fitness World was the perfect go-to for me. Awesome people and high quality machines. Will definitely come back during my next stay.
I’ve been a member since 2018, and honestly, this gym feels like a second home. The staff treat you like family and genuinely care about your fitness goals. It’s never just about the money, they’re always checking in, encouraging you, and making sure you’re on track. The managers and team truly go the extra mile to keep you happy and healthy. I’m so grateful to be part of this community.
I signed up for this gym mainly because their website clearly mentioned that childcare service was available at the branch I chose. But after joining, I found out that the service doesn’t exist at that location at all.nnWhen I went to cancel and ask for a refund, the front desk staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Even after showing an official email, they made the process difficult and frustrating. I also spoke with a manager later and unfortunately faced the same kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.nnTo make things worse, I’ve been charged again despite my cancellation request.nnVery disappointing experience overall. I wouldn’t recommend this gym unless they become more honest, respectful, and professional.
