The guys there don’t care about customers. Didn’t answer any of my questions, and lacked knowledge in basic equipment. Hands down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Would NOT recommend going here, place is super dead and the guys who run it clearly don’t care. Your better off to go online on forums ex. Reddit and ask experienced lifters who enjoy what they do and can give you detailed answers.
Did not have a great experience, basically walked in and asked the guy at the front desk a few question and this gentleman basically blew me off instantly saying " we do not have those, the other stuff is in the back you can go look". I went to the back thinking that was pretty rude and unhelpful but what ever... then when I get to the back I realize that the plates, barbells, and equipment I was looking to buy had no product stats and no price tags. I realized I would try and talk to an employee for some help. There was another sales person helping out the only other customer in the store and since the other individual still did not want to help me Was "very" busy on his computer I again decided to wait. After the employee finished helping the customer out who ended up leaving as well, shortly after without buying anything, the two employees just stood and chatted, then unfortunately another pair of customers came into the store and the two employees jumped to help them A pair of cute girls. After being in the store for about 30 minutes trying to get some assistance I said screw this and left. Even as I was leaving the store, I saw another customer get greeted the exact same way I had been as he entered the store. Over all the store is poorly set up, not everything has a price tag, nothing is organized, so therefore you need help from an employee... but unfortunately the employees where very rude, resistant to assist and I don't think I will ever go back. If anyone is looking for Strength training equipment with great prices plus they treat you like a human being... DO NOT GO TO FITNESS TOWN!
These weight dumbells with threaded handle and thread lock is very poorly designed. Threadlock constantly loosens while exercising causing the weights to wiggle around. Its impossible to use while exercising. And expensive. All of the gear we bought was more expensive here. Coulda saved a lot of money elsewhere and now I have to spend even more cash on a new barbell set.
Not a great experience. Went in wanting to purchase some items and was ignored and when asked if ordering an item was an option was talked down to
Absolutely disgusted with the attitudes of the employees. Stood around waiting to be helped by a employee. Finally got someone attention and they blow us off, didn’t even help us and continue to walk away. Was then on the phone with a friend as I was buying equipment for them as well and a different staff member continued to blow us off and then asked us to leave the store. Would recommend a different fitness store within the city. Costumer service is terrible. To whoever the manger is I would recommend you hire all new staff.
I came with my parents looking for recumbent bike for them. All time we were there we felt that we weren't welcomed there. Despite of introducing ourselves that it's our first time buying experience for fitness equipment, we were left alone to try all options by ourselves with no prior knowledge. And, despite of being ready to buy the item sales guy was so cold in responding that we left without buying. Don't know how people are giving high rating. This store lost our business.
I called about a water rower and spoke with Alex who was very clear about low stock. I came into the store to see the floor model and was promptly approached by Alex who explained everything I didn't know about the machine. I'm a little surprised at the polar reviews on Google, my experience was pleasant and the staff were available, respectful, and knowledgeable. I was disappointed in the limited stock but I understand this is to be expected in the current global situation with upstream material and manufacturing delays and reduced production. I removed one star mostly due to personal impression: there is a large space but much of the equipment seemed to be clustered in close quarters, I didn't personally see any sanitation of doorknobs or equipment or PoS but I have no reason to doubt it was happening and they did set up a distancing barrier around the sales counter with sanitizer, and the building itself takes away from the purchasing experience because of its age rather minor aesthetics like lighting, carpet, exterior finish, parking. I encourage buyers to season their expectations - everyone is continually learning how to deal with the risks as best they can, and that extends far behind the sales person or the floor models.
Fantastic customer service and very knowledgeable staff. I bought a very reasonably priced bike, however before I could have it delivered I unfortunately had to return it for a refund. The refund was processed without hesitation and with excellent service. The next time I'm in the market for fitness equipment I won't hesitate to shop here.
Crazy that you would walk into a store to spend close to a grand and be met with silence and no effort to engage at all! It was actually one of the worst customer service experiences I think I've ever had. My wife and I left the store totally perplexed by the poor interaction. Just returned from Physique fitness where we were greeted with by the store manager who said 'hello' asked us what we were looking for, discussed options available to us and ultimately we purchased what we were looking for, spending the aforementioned $1000.
Terrible, terrible customer service. I was in a pinch for a couple products and unfortunately ended up having to give them my money. Worker with the long hair and bit of a lisp refused to measure a squat rack for me. He also had no idea about inventory levels, didn't know how to adjust a piece of equipment I was looking to buy and told me to "Google it". After paying for the products, another worker came from the back with a dolly and got me to load up the boxes and neither of them offered to help with the approximately 350 lbs worth of equipment into my car.
