They rarely have something in stock what you find on their website. The only one person who was actually knowledgeable and helpful quit months ago. When i called them and asked for him the guy who picked up the phone was very arrogant and literally started to interrogate me that "when did you talked to him last time ?" and he ignored my inquiry until I answered his question first. Also the quality of some of their products is so low that it is already dangerous. They know it but they don't care. The last item I bought is a pair of olympic dumbbell handles failed during performing pullovers. The welding broke and the weight fell on my head. I wrote a review on their website with one star what they deleted instantly. That is how they dealt with the issue. Fitness Depot a greedy, ignorant company who knowingly put their customers in danger for profit.
Thank you, Eddie was wonderful. No hassle, excellent deals for Black Friday and great customer service. We got everything we wanted and a bit more. The young guy who was helping load up customers, very pleasant and helpful.
Stupid return policy, final sale on literally everything I was told. Never shopping there again. First the guy asks me if I'm returning everything as if assessing which response to give, then he comes back from talking with his boss with a flippant response: "we clearly have signs saying final sale"... lol should have said that to start with
Their products are very low quality. I'd definitely recommend Fitness Town over this place. The rubber they use is recycled rubber not virgin rubber or urethane so it gives off a very unpleasant rubber smell that will not go away no matter how much you clean or air them out. The metal inserts on their Olympic plates are not consistent in design or manufacture and some have sharp edges to them not completely filed down. Due to the poor quality products they will not stand behind them in anyway, having a no return, no refund, no store credit policy.
Ordered almost $1000 of equipment for Friday pickup. The order wasn’t picked when I arrived. I’ll still come back but customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.
Couldn't ask for better customer service from a retailer. Decided to price out and build a home gym for my garage and was steered in the right direction every step of the way by the manager of commercial and retail sales, Rob. He had great insight on what was worth purchasing, ideal equipment combos and even helped load dumbells into my vehicle! Will definitely be using these guys again for any other gym related purchases in the future!
Terrible customer service. Take your business elsewhere. Ive dealt with 3 different employees and they all seem to care less as to helping you. Then hardly have the knowledge to help anyways. Then make you feel like you shouldnt be asking them questions? Also bought an olympic bar, it was scratched and seemingly covered up until I wiped it clean after use. Brought it back for a new one. Two bumper plates, both with pretty major defects. Brought one back, got a new one. Then the new one had a major defect on it I noticed once I got home. So I brought that one back. Was told to go fetch myself a new one from the pile. First box I opened was the plate I returned the previous day...so they just put the garbage one back for someone else to buy..so of course I opened another one and thoroughly inspected it before leaving for the last time. Go anywhere else.
Fitness Depot is an amazing store. I was helped by the employee Miller, he is so helpful and kind and created an amazing environment with no judgement as I was not sure what I needed to buy for workout equipment, he helped me though it all!
Awesome prices! Bought 3 items instead of the one I came in for and still stayed within budget. No frills shopping experience.
George and staff were helpful and to the point about treadmills. We had a new Precor delivered, but something was wrong and it didn't lift. A tech came out within 2 days and fixed it, some minor connection was loose. 5/5 for customer service and aftercare. Make sure to buy your treadmill here from the pros instead of the unreliable toys at BestBuy.
