Newer facility with lots of parking and easy to get to. The equipment has been upgraded recently and more machines added. Generally quiet but gets bus at the normal times. There is a black card area with a few different machines and heavier dumbbells. Staff seem friendly but there is a lot of sitting around when the front entrance could be cleaned as it gets messy.
for the price, you really can't beat it. I've been coming here for a few months now, and it gets the job done if you just want to lift and leave. I was pleasantly surprised by the free weight section—dumbbells go up to 100 lbs, which is rare for a budget gym. It does get busy during the after-work rush 5-7 PM, but I can usually hop on a machine without waiting too long. The only minor thing is the cleanliness; the bathrooms can be a bit 'meh' sometimes, and definitely bring a lock for your stuff—heard a few stories about things going walking. Staff are pretty hands-off, but for $15 bi-weekly, I’m not complaining.
We have been members of the Norwest Fit4Less since it switched from Goodlife. We are thrilled with the changes and equipment additions.nnWe love the day staff - Gabe and Amelia. We are particularly fond of the manager Lyndsey. They are all hardworking, engaging and approachable. If you have an issue you can approach any of the staff and it will be dealt with promptly.nnWe have seen a number of negative reviews and from what we can figure out a lot of them are from people who have had there memberships revoked for letting non paying friends in during the unstaffed hours. This is your fault not management - DON'T DO IT ! Or they complain about the dirt as members don't remove their shoes/boots when there is no staff which takes time for Lindsey, Gabe and Amelia to get to in the morning. Please be patient, they are doing their best with a staff of 3 !nnBesides if you are that unhappy go somewhere else....no one will miss you.
There is a reason many people are leaving this exact fit4less location and going to their other direct competitors, i.e, Crunch. The manager at this location, I’m assuming that she is the manager due to her superiority complex is extremely rude. I have been a member of fit4less for over 10 years. I’ve always paid my membership, never caused any issues other than forgetting my gym card on a few occasions. I understand it is policy to have your membership card to access the gym. However, people are human beings and sometimes people forget their cards. Perhaps if this archaic gym could get with the times and have an app for their members to automatically scan in. Or provide an actual keychain tag instead of a card the size of a credit card. Instead, the manager who thinks she’s God’s gift to fit4less stated that I was required to pay for another membership card in order to access the gym. This individual may need to take some classes on how to speak with PAYING CUSTOMERS. When I stated I would rather cancel my membership, the manager took it very personal and processed my request. Once she was done, she became hostile and stated “you can go now,” in an extremely rude tone. Again, I’ve been a paying member of this gym for over 10 years. I’m not sure if this individual is upset that their ceiling in life is a “no frills, discount gym” gym manager, but judging by the many reviews and other former members of the gym, she is a direct reason why many are jumping over to Crunch. That being said, all other staff there have always been polite and courteous and perhaps they should be considered to be the manager of this location. The current one is NOT competent and needs to find another dead end job.
I love it here!!!!! The staff is amazing and helpful!!! The staff and managers are very quick to problem solve or welcome you with a smile and friendly conversation. They support you fitness to the very end and I personally love the recent upgrades to the gymnAnd will always be a second home to me!!! Thank you to the staff and mangers for a safe and happy environment.
