One of a kind dining experience - can't really beat it with a group, really fun and interactive if you like getting intimate with your food. Nothing more carnal than ripping into a lobster with your hands. The flesh just falls right out.nnThe seafood mountains are showstopping. That fried seasoned goodness is like crack. They make it fresh every morning apparently. I could munch on it all day. Special callout for the beef tenderloin which was super juicy and seasoned to perfection. Sweet and sour pork was also great too, although I found the lobster fried rice a bit lacking expected it to be a flavour bomb.nnHighly recommended for a celebratory event with friends and family. You'll have a great time.
Came back recently for a joint bday celebration.nnFishman didn't sneakily jack up their prices to offset the 2 mnth tax-free break on food and services in contrast to their sister resto, Jumbo Lobster which is surprising, given that they have the same owner.nnWhen I do come here w/ family, we usually opted to just go all in on lobster as we think it's the best bang-for-buck and also less effort to eat than crab.nnThis time, the bday ppl insisted on going for some king crab and I gotta say, the maggi sauce prep for the big knuckles was *chefs kiss*.nnService was pretty good again this time around. Don't think anything has changed from the last time I visited this place.nnDessert is kinda disappointing though. Cubes of jelly pudding? And they were completely flavourless as well not even subtle taste, just bland which kinda puts a dampener on an otherwise great seafood meal. Bring back the dessert soups! They already use fries instead of the fried anchovies for the seafood tower bases.nnThe sns pork is still the crispiest one I've ever had but this time, the ratios were a lil off more fat than meat in each piece. Garlic beef tenderloin very tasty. Melt in your mouth beef chunks.nnAlways a solid place for special occasions. Just prepare your wallet with wads of cash beforehand lol.
A couple of my friends and I came here on a public holiday, hence it was more crowded than usual. However, everything seems to be in order and we were seated right away thanks to our reservation.nnAll staff personnels were polite and attentive, which was extra rare in a busy night. We were grateful for that.nnHowever, I cannot say the same thing about the food. Most dishes were salty AF. As a former resident of Canton, I was instantly disappointed. All my friends would agree with me as we could not finish any dish.nnAll in all, it would be an remarkable dinning experience if not for the salty dishes.
We were craving lobster and king crab and Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant nailed it.nnWe got the King Crab 6.24 lbs and Lobster 3.49 lbs Dinner. This combo was awesome, filling and delicious. We had the following in the combo dinner:nnThe Chicken Soup was okay. It was more a chicken broth than soup. Nothing special.nnThe Lobster Tower 3.49 lbs or 1.58 kg in Hong Kong Style was awesome. The lobster was perfectly cooked. It was soft, tender, meaty and flavourful. Would definitely recommend.nnThe King Crab 6.24 lbs or 2.83 kg was split into 3 dishes:n1 Fried King Crab Leg with Green Onion and Ginger was good. The King Crab legs were soft and tender. The green onion and ginger combo were okay. There was a bit too much ginger though.nn2 Steamed King Crab Body With Egg White was awesome. Surprisingly, this combination was really good. The crab meat was soft, tender, juicy and went well with the egg white. Would definitely recommend.nn3 Fried Rice with King Crab Shell was awesome. The fried rice with crab meat was flavourful and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend.nnThe Snow Pea Tips With Minced Garlic was delicious. It was perfectly cooked and flavourful with the minced garlic. Would definitely recommend.nnThe pudding-like dessert was not great. Would skip on this dessert.nnThe Lobster Roe Fried Rice was okay. They mistakenly gave us this fried rice dish instead of the Fried Rice With King Crab Shell. They gave us the Lobster Roe Fried Rice on the house which was nice. This fried rice was good and more on the dry side. Of the two fried rice dishes, we definitely preferred the Fried Rice with King Crab Shell which was more flavourful.
Would definitely revisit here! Every dish was AMAZING and full of flavor—10/10! Big portions and fair prices for me. Just a heads up, they only accept cash and Canadian debit cards, no credit cards!
