Please avoid this Company at all cost !!Unprofessional. No customer service at all !Water leaking into my neighbour the following day due to poor installation, the out of office- were out of the office. My neighbours apartment is a total mess They have agreed to repair & repaint The installer left dirty hand prints all over the white walls and Customer care told me to wipe it down with a sponge. They installed the incorrect units which they have replaced the 1st installer didn’t install the thermostat for the hot water ! He was unable to get the heating working and was on the phone for hours work another installer!! While his assistant sat on the hallway floor on his phone. We were left weeks without hot water in the 2nd bathroom due to an air block,very poor service considering the how expensive ,not worth the stress!
Recently purchased my aquafficient Instant hot water unit from Fischer. Although I am very pleased with this unit and it does exactly what it says on the tin there are some things to bear in mind, first of all I have the unit that produces around 140 L of hot water which can take up to 3 hours to charge from completely flat, this will only give you around two baths at about 6 inches in depth in the tub and some hot water to spare for washing so if you want more hot water you have to put the timer on multiple programs and it will continuously give you as much hot water as you require. If you are a single person living on your own one charge will last you until the next day. Also bear in mind when having the unit fitted there is extra pipework to be plumbed in at the side of the unit see enclosed pictures. I think the most disappointing thing about this unit as a whole is the indication of the charging lights are not clear, For the amount of money that is charged for these units I would’ve expected a digital readout giving the percentage in numbers instead of a few cheap green lights When you consider it is nearly over twice the price of a gas boiler depending on what the rep will knock off for you if you complain about the price. If you are going to switch from a gas boiler to this electric unit you will save on gas daily standing charge and the gas bill, remember to tell your Gas Supplier you are moving out . You can save even more money if you have an electric water heater if you have solar panels already installed, don’t forget though it does not power your radiators only hot water . One thing that did shock me though is all though the team that fitted the unit were very polite and well mannered it did come as a shock when they walked right through my house with their shoes on and never attempted to put a dust sheet down over my carpets bad practice if you ask me lack of training. On a good note though it’s nice to see there is after sales customer service ringing me up to make sure everything is okay
Very pleased I chose Fischer heat while upgrading my daughter's flat. From demonstration of products, through to installation, the process was without fault. The initial survey and demonstration was extremely useful in assessing our energy need. An installation date was agreed and I was kept updated on progress of order. In the final event, installation occurred earlier than expected, which we were grateful for. Installers, arrived on time, the installation was quick, there was no mess, old equipment and all packaging removed, the installers talked us through operation of system, thermostat and timer settings. All in all an extremely efficient, personal and friendly service, but importantly, an efficient heating system that has worked perfectly during this first year since installation. Would highly recommend.
Apart from one glitch in the original measuring up - which was resolved quickly and efficiently - we were impressed with the efficiency of the installation of electric boiler, instant hot water and room heater photo, which now work a treat. Excellent teams, prompt and clear communication.
Having just moved into a property that is electric supplied only, our initial experience of Fischer was the fact that we had to have numerous engineers out to sort a problem with the water heater, which the previous owners had had installed around 18 months prior. Bearing in mind that their engineers had to travel in excess of 300miles to get to us, their prompt service was faultless. When it was deemed necessary to replace the whole unit, that also was done within 48hours, and at no cost to us. It was this excellent service that gave us the confidence in the company to then have them come and do a survey on our property, with a view to replacing the existing, archaic night storage heaters. Agreed the products aren’t cheap, but having had the old heaters removed by Fischer, and all replaced with their electric radiators, yesterday, by two very professional, cheerful and polite young men, who are superb representatives for the company, we could not be happier with the service from Fischer Future Heat. Thank you
Latest purchase of storage heater from Fischer. Have been using these heaters for about 9 years and found them to be very efficient and easily controlled be thermostat. My latest purchase was last week. Was quickly and efficiently installed and area left clean and tidy. Very useful follow up phone call from Fischer to check that heater is working effectively and to answer any questions I might have.
My Elderly Grandad has had an electric boiler fitted last week 28th October, since then he has had no hot water. And the flue from the previous boiler was just snapped off and is leaking water onto the new electric boiler. He’s been trying to get in touch and then do not seem to care. Also he’s extremely confused about the costing of this, there has been no commissioning certificate left from what we can see and overall the service is abysmal. Elliot Jones
The two installing engineers were simply excellent. They were extremely tidy in their work and very efficient. I could not have asked for better installers. They were helpful in explaining how the system worked and advise where we could get any further information and advice if required. They were both very helpful in all respects and I must commend them fully for what they did in completing the installation. You can always tell a company by the people it keeps and they were indeed a compliment to the company.
After 6 years it was finally time to start getting rid of the old storage heaters. The sales man Brian did not go in for the heavy sale. He was great explaining everything and when we said we could only do a room at a time he never tried to push he said “got to walk before you can run”. With energy prices as they are was so relieved he understood. Then the install which was earlier than estimated. The two fitters was great. The two old heaters were removed in minutes and the new ones in no fuss. I told them I honestly thought it would be longer and was so happily surprised. After only two days with the heaters on can already feel the difference and being able to set a timer so they are not on when no one is in the house is great. Will see everyone again when it’s time for the next heaters we have the rooms listed in order. Thank you so much
It's not cheap but it's good! I just had Fischer install three wall-mounted heaters and couldn't be more happy. Their representatives are all professionals, the engineers did a speedy job with no mess and the equipment works efficiently to provide comfort in my house.
