The bartender was on top of her game and made excellent cocktails seats at the bar are super super uncomfortable. I don't know why they have such cheap seats in such a nice place The food was good. I enjoyed the lobster roll. The lobster bisque was a huge miss, it was grainy and very liquidy, perhaps it's just their version of a bisque, but it's disappointing. overall a nice experience the patrons at the bar are super friendly as well.
Couldn’t have picked a better spot for lunch! My wife and I were looking for all the fresh New England seafood we don’t get in Texas. Fishbones did not disappoint! All the bartenders and staff were friendly. The steamers were the sweetest and best we’ve ever had. We also ordered oysters, calamari and a lobster roll, all equally as good. The beer list was great too, offering alot of local variety. We will make a point to stop in again next time we are in the area.
Delicious food , beautiful ambience and best drinks . I love my pomegranate . Amanda was wonderful she just made sure that we enjoy our evening and I am vegan so she took care of my piece also very well . I highly recommend this place !
Vibrant seafood restaurant in the heart of Chelmsford Center. Excellent and extensive New England seafood menu. Cozy and elegant decor. Call ahead for a table if you can. Bar seating available, too! Food was delicious. Service was friendly. Highly recommended! I look forward to returning! Kid-friendliness: No kids present the night I visited. It's really an adult atmosphere. Leave the kids at home and enjoy a night out!
I've never made it to New England before and always promised myself a lobster roll if I ever made it up here. Well made it up here last night and googled best lobster roll near me. One of the first places to pop up with fishbones and I'm so glad it did. Dinner was a little more than I wanted to spend but it was late and this place is elegant. Excellent place for a date. Greeted very courteously but was told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. However I could try the bar which luckily had just emptied out a few seats. Service was not the fastest but she had her hands full so it's understandable sissy from that everyone at the bar was friendly and polite. After looking over their very thorough menu I decided on of course my lobster roll and a cup of New England clam chowder. Neither disappointed in the least. Maybe it's because I've never been to New England but this was the best clam chowder I have ever had and while certainly not my first lobster roll it was definitely one of the most delicious. Although being offered ketchup for sweet potato fries was a first. Lol If you're ever in the area I highly recommend giving this place a go.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and I love going when I’m in the area. The seafood sauté is my favorite dish, it’s super flavorful and balanced with lots of yummy seafood. The table side poured cocktails are also a must.
Cozy environment with amazingly fresh seafood. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a lowkey restaurant with delicious/ fresh seafood.

Food was fine but overpriced. Flavors were basic and the menu felt dated. I bet this place was amazing 10-15 years ago.
I have been here on several occasions and I live/work locally. Fishbones and their wonderful staff deserve a great review and the food has always been fresh/delicious. We all know the service is very important and this is where I can really appreciate being taken care of. Our sides were a bit undercooked and a manager came over right away to offer the same sides cooked properly and was very courteous the entire time. They sent us home with a complimentary dessert and I am glad to say I will be back and I urge you to enjoy a meal here as well!
