I got the 3 piece fish n chips with whitefish and hush puppies. All super good! It came with all the sauces, fresh lemon wedges and cole slaw. Highly recommend you stop by this local spot!
Ive had their fish tacos as well as the fish and chips and this is hands down the BEST fish fry Ive ever had in meh life. Ive searched for a good fish fry since moving here and so ive tried quite a few and their fish and chips is outstanding. I prefer the whitefish over the cod but thats just me. Do not hesitate. You get good healthy portions of fish and the chips are freakin amazing too. My only wish would be to have a homemade tarter served. Be sure to ask for extra if you want more than 2 packages.
Fantastic and inexpensive place for really fresh, local fried fish. They do EVERYTHING right. We had four things and all were remarkably good! The piping hot whitefish in a tasty but not overpowering batter, the crispy tender seasoned fries, excellent potato salad, crispy fresh coleslaw. All consumed at a picnic table in the shade far enough away from the road to be quite pleasant. Comes in a non plastic to go shell. Way to go guys!
Just a damn GOOD fish and chips. Excellently battered, perfectly fried fries, great coleslaw, yummy hush puppies and spicy chutney. Only a little sad that there was no home made tarter and the inside dining area could use some noise suppression so it isn't so echo-y. Otherwise this will be the new place that I'll think about when I think of good fish fry. Hopefully one day they can add some more fish options but I love what they have going on for them right now.
Had it 2 nights in a row! I love the fish and chips "small fry" and he loves the fish tacos! Wow!!! Best so far this trip.
A little pricey, but totally worth it!! The fish was fresh and tasted amazing! Portions are decent size. Fish tacos were fire!!! Great food truck
This place has always been consistently amazing: during the food truck days and now with the opening of a brick and mortar establishment. Always hot, tasty, perfectly cooked, and fast! Awesome fish for Friday night/Lent! I love the fish and chips and my partner loves the fish tacos!
Walked up around 7p, ordered whitefish and chips, whitefish tacos with hush puppies -ABSOLUTE FIRE We’ve been disappointed so many times ordering food in UP and this place SLAPPED! Homie at the window was super friendly. Great fry, delicious seasoning, generous portions. Hands down best food experience all considering up here. They’re also neighbor to a sandwich food truck if the kids or someone in your party isn’t fish friendly
Excellent food and excellent service. We had the the fish and chips and a side of hush puppies. All of it was delicious. Fries are also better than good. Super friendly staff. Outside, shaded, picnic tables and easy parking. Just what we were looking for.
I went to Fish Express and it was amazing! The service was friendly, and the food was phenomenal! The white fish tacos are on point, I recommend putting coleslaw on them instead of lettuce, and the fries/hush puppies were both fantastic as well. Kyle served us with a smile, I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!
