First Street Market YYC
"First Street Market is Calgary's only fully-licensed food hall featuring a collective of nine unique, locally-owned, chef-inspired restaurants and a centralized bar in one open concept. We have you covered for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course our daily happy hour from 4-6pm when you can get $5 craft draft/wine glasses and $25 wine bottles. Lastly, don't forget to soak of the sun with us on our 50-seat patio that backs onto the lively Hautain Park greenspace across from the tennis courts."

Such a nice place to eat, they have different stores that offer variety of food. Like tacos, burgers, pasta, noodles, healthy smoothies and salads as well as indian street food. They have a bar for liquors too and a coffee shop. It is always clean. They have a big washroom and it is maintained clean, after the meal you can enjoy the park too outside.
Great vibes the idea is a fancy food court. Went for lunch and tried the tacos at moose and poncho which was really good! Spicy I did not find it spicy at all but it was still really good! These were 6.5 dollars each.
Great vibe and seating with a view too! There’s a lot to choose from. We had noodle dishes from Pure and lattes from Alforno. The dry noodles and the sate noodles were very tasty with the perfect amount of seasoning and spice. Alforno is great just like the main location and the service was excellent. Definitely try this place! I’ll be back to try different vendors.
This is a really great food hall with a solid range of food stalls South Asian, Indian, Italian, American and more. Plenty of indoor seating and connects to a great lawn. You’ll find options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a bar for drinks. Free WiFi as well.
Great food hall that reminds me of the ones you find in Europe. Lots of food selection from different parts of the world so everyone can find something they like or try something new. We had a lovely drink at the bar while we waited for our food. When you order you get a buzzer to notify you when your food is ready so you can wander and find a seat indoors or outdoors while you wait. Family friendly and great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.
It was our first time visiting here. Had a quick lunch at Saffron, great Indian food with decent options. It was amazing. Followed by Alforno. If you don't already know, they are so so good. Had a chocolate tart and carrot cake with almond milk latte. Its right by park so its just perfect for a stroll after.
What a cool little find! My wife and I were looking for something we hadn't tried yet and found the 1st St Food Hall on Google. I love the cozy vibe and the fact there were quite a few interesting choices. We tried the food from Saffron Street. It was good and just right for our appetites. Then we had dessert from Alforno just steps across from Saffron Street. Again, delicious and perfect! There ought to be more places like 1st St Market and Food Hall in Calgary. Parking: It was a Saturday so street parking was a breeze.
The setup of this place is super cute, and they have everything I could possibly be craving. I loved sitting on the patio, watching all the activity going on in the park. Tennis, doggos, pedestrians. Part of a perfect afternoon!
This has become my favorite spot in calgary downtown. I can find all of my favorite comfort foods in one place italian pasta, tacos, pho, etc... I have been craving for Indian food for a while and it didn't disappoint! It was creamiest butter chicken i have ever had, so much flavour and freshness. Loved it! 10/10 would recommend and will come back to try other things in their menu! Will keep updating! Yum!
I’m sad I didn’t discover this spot sooner!! This food hall felt like the bougie cafeteria of my dreams. They offered a variety of vendors that were so hard to choose from, but my friend and I ended up ordering from the Indian spot. I got the butter chicken platter and she got the veggie samosas - my food was amazing and she vouches for her dish as well! We enjoyed our food in a quiet corner and stayed and chatted as it didn’t seem like too busy of a time for the hall. It was a nice place to chill as the inside has tall ceilings that allow for lots of light, and it was very aesthetic with plants everywhere. We didn’t interact with too many staff but from what I observed everyone seemed very hardworking and professional. I’ll be back as soon as I can!
