First Rate Movers came highly recommended by our son after they took care his move last September. They arrived on time, quickly took stock of the set up and started their day. ***, **** and *** worked hard while still being extremely careful with our belongings. Nearly all our furniture was blanket wrapped. Our new home was a century home with its challenges. Their vast experience enabled them to quickly overcome every challenge. We were so impressed and learned some tricks ourselves. Their teamwork was amazing! Their rates were reasonable and we highly recommend First Rate Movers to anyone considering a move.
First Rate Movers are Rock Stars!!! The crew Wes, Andrew, Jessie, Zack, Jake and Aaron were professional, beyond efficient and extremely cohesive as a team. In under four hours, they loaded 25 years of our lives into two trucks, drove 93 kilometers and unloaded everything into our new home. They took extreme care to wrap every single piece of furniture with moving blankets and disassembled and re-assembled our gym equipment. Their teamwork is so well established that they hardly had to speak about what needed to be done, everyone just started working. They were also very pleasant to deal with and handled the move with humor and grace. I should also mention that Matt coordinated the details of the move with me and was informative and attentive. I knew exactly what was going to be required to do our move and how much is was going to cost. Thank you First Rate Movers for making our transition such a pleasant experience.
If you are browsing for movers and cannot decide on one, just stop looking and go with First Rate Movers. I still can't believe how professional, smooth, and stress free the whole experience was on our move. The communication was also excellent from the very beginning. I have moved from Montreal to Ottawa and then a few times within Ottawa before and there isn't even a comparison to the movers I used back then. First Rate Movers is definitely next level on what they do and I think they are their own competition. I cannot recommend them enough.
We hired First Rate Movers to do our move from a townhome in the West end to a new home in the South end of Ottawa this summer. Cody's team arrived enthusiastically on time and did a fantastic and very efficient job with the move. They even helped us disassemble our treadmill! The icing on the cake was when they organized the many boxes that were being stored in our basement. Cannot recommend First Rate Movers enough!! Thank you!
