First Markham Place FMP is a great mall that many people in Toronto love. It's especially popular for its amazing food options.nnThe food here is really, really good. The food court has lots of different Asian foods to try. You can get Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes that taste just like they do back in Asia. Outside the mall, there are 23 more restaurants where you can sit down and enjoy a nice meal.nnThe mall has pretty much everything you might need. There are over 170 stores and places to get stuff done. You can find fancy glasses stores with big brand names, and even some winter jackets that might be copies of expensive brands but don't tell anyone I said that!. It's like a smaller, less busy version of Pacific Mall.nnJust so you know, parking can be a bit hard sometimes. When it's lunchtime or dinnertime, the parking lot gets super full.nnIts a really fun place to visit. It feels like a little piece of Asia right here in Toronto, but it's not as crowded as some other Asian malls. The food is so good that people come from all over just to eat here. Whether you want to eat, buy stuff, or just hang out, this mall has it all.nnBtw, they officially open at 10 but most stores don't open until around 11.
Wow! Truly surprised at how you are transported to an Asian world. All stores and restaurants are all Asian. It literally has hundreds of stores and so so many Asian eateries. In the food court, there are half a dozen BBQ places but two of them have long long lineups when we were there. Prices are still down to earth here for a meal.nNegative: tough to find parking despite the size of the lot.
This mall is huge and has all kinds of shops! Sorry, I didn’t get any pictures of the halls-ways. But the real highlight here is the food court—one of my go-to spots for a delicious and affordable rice and soup combo meal!nnMy family and I have been here so many times, and there’s always a long line, but trust me, the quality and dedication put into the food make it totally worth the wait.nnIf you love Chinese food, especially duck or meat dishes, you’ve got to check this place out! And after eating, you can stroll around the mall to digest your meal—there are even snack shops nearby if you’re up for more treats!
Haven't been to this mall for many years. Back then most of the new restaurants outside of the mall were empty. The food court and the inside was the busiest. Now the opposite most of the cars parked outside are for so many different eateries outside together with the new supermarket. Inside is no longer as busy as before.
First Markham Place. Great food court, WEAK security.nnJust look at this picture. Romeo here trying to court the cleaner for about 15 mins.nnThe customers can care less, but I’d hate to be the management that have Romeo and Juliette on payroll.nnWas there not a jewellery robbery like 1-2 years ago here? Not that mall security guards could have done anything, but having any competent security guard would be better than some people only there for a pay check. Might as well add more cameras.
