I took my elderly mother for a quick haircut and had the most horrible experience. I explained to the hairdresser what I'd like for the cut. She was extremely slow, barely spoke english and at the end gave an aweful haircut. To top it all she charged $60 when there was a sign saying $27 for a ladies cut. I was horrified. I have gone a couple times in the last couple of months, to get my hair cut cleaned up. I keep the sides of my hair shaved and long on top. Both times I've gone, the service has been exceptional. They are always so friendly and very skilled. I highly recommend them.
I know there are a lot of mixed reviews, but if you’re looking for an acceptable haircut, this is really not the place. I don’t even want to get into details but they simply couldn’t do the bare minimum and on top of that, the lack of professionalism was very disappointing. Would not recommend it for anyone.
Great customer service and amazing haircut with my favorite hairdresser Gina! Gina deserve a raise! When I came into the saloon at first, I was greeted with an unfamiliar face, I asked for Gina as she had given me a great haircut last time I was there, but the person at the cash said that she is not working today. Before I could give in and get a haircut from this unfamiliar face, Gina came in at the last minute, and gave me a great haircut.Service: Hairstyling
Gima gee-ma is a great addition to your team! One of the friendliest and most helpful stylists I’ve met in coming to the salon for more than 20 years. Keep up the great work!
They do not accept cash, that is an automatic 0 out of 5 stars. Also $32 for a 10 minute hair cut. I am used to cutting it myself at home and will be doing that from now on. Not only is it free but it also looks way better. This place appears to be on it's deathbed and I fully expect to see it closed down by the end of the year.
Typical hair salon. This can be a very busy place but came on a Friday night after work and only had to wait about 15 minutes. The hair cut was OK. Pricey but pretty much the same as most salons in the area.
Always get my hair cut here and it's perfect every time. I've gone to a more expensive salon in the past and I find First Choice is just as good, so even with a generous tip I'm still spending less than at a fancy salon. I've had several different people cut my hair here and every time it's been great. Usually doesn't take long to get in if you walk in, and even less if you book an appointment.
I dont know about you but i really never want to pay more than $40 for a trim so i always go to first choice. they’ve been my go to for years now and ive never had bad service. But today? Today they were rude as hell. My mother and I were waiting to be called fo a seat, and an employee yelled at us asking if we had appointments. We said yes and she yelled “OKAY well who’s going first? Im asking who’s going first?!” Very unexpected and unkind. I can’t believe i was put through this experience. Then they were seemingly upset about my thick hair? They insisted that we drench the hair to make it easier to cut but then when i asked for my hair to be dried, they were reluctant as I didnt want the styling option. When they finished, i asked if it was fully dry because it felt damp on my scalp and they raised their voice and said their hand was warm so they can’t tell? Im very confused and disappointed. I really dont think I’ll be going back.
