Very nice couple. They took the time to explain how the different varieties of wood burn. They measure the area of each carrier, and charge you accordingly. Their way is the most honest way of charging for firewood, all based on a full cord, 4' x 4' x 8'. Loading charge was very fair, $10.00. Will be back as soon as the family burns the .6 of a cord that I've stacked.

Ok it worth the drive to get wood here. The reviews are right, super honest and friendly. Very organized setup with very fare prices. I will go there again. Never expected to love Tamarack for a campfire,super hot and little smoke.

Staff were VERY helpful. Prices you cannot beat.. go here first.. they will accommodate you. Always open as long as they are awake. Will be going again for sure.. lots of choices of wood types
