Food is quite average, gravy is SUPER salty, prices could be better, service could also be better. Date night for 2 of us still costs about $60. The older waitress/Bartender with the glasses is always too busy swearing and conversing with the men surrounding the bar so I don't like bringing my lil ones here anymore, plus, not very accommodating when asked for a less spicy option on the chicken in the Buffalo wrap she flat out said no, there's only 1 sauce for the Buffalo wrap, like, excuse me?
Good food , decent prices. My favourite is a firehouse burger with poutine, total is 22.60. For this price you get a great poutine and a great burger , however I find myself wishing it was under 20$ Overall great food
We had a surprise 65th Birthday party for my husband. Great food, super nice owners and staff, and they even let the band play! What a super time! Can't wait for accessible bathrooms though!! ;-
Went there while out snowmobiling. When we arrived Friday at 2 pm it was closed, didn't open till 4pm. We had heard good things about this place so we needed up going back Saturday, and it was worth it. They had a rush before we got there, you could tell by the state of the place. The server was working really hard to service all tables. The owner and her daughter came in and started to clean and serve other tables. Can't blame them at all, hard time hiring staff. Our server was great, she said great things about the owner. The feel in the place was just what we needed after a hard day of sledding. The food was great. Homemade burgers!! Worth the stop at Fire House Bar and Grill Capreol!

Im giving them 5 stars because I don't want to be too critical, but I'm not the biggest fan of the food. It's just very average food in my opinion. We had the pizza last night and it was meh. I've also tried the nachos and they were very basic. Couldn't finish them honestly they just weren't enjoyable. BUT everyone that I have eaten this food with have very much enjoyed their meals so it's all on preference! It's worth a try and I'll keep trying different menu items. Edit: sticking to my 5 stars. I've tried a few other menu items and they were delish!!
The food here has changed... Used to be the best burgers in caperol. I was constantly getting screwed on prices, makes me feel as if nobody here cares anymore. Won't be back here ever again.
Was really impressed by the take out, fries were great and our poutines survived the drive home no problem. It is by far the best take out in the Hanmer area.
Such an amazing restaurant! The service was great, super friendly staff. As for the food, I ordered the fire house burger, and it was fantastic. All home made and I couldn't stop eating it was so good. Thank you to the owner for such a great experience. I look forward to coming back soon.
If you like going places, and tasting different poutines, DO NOT try the Firehouse Poutine here. After having it once, all other poutines are ruined. I'm happy they are out of the way. If they were more convenient, I'd weigh 600 pounds.
