Atmosphere is great. We found out that there have live bands as well. Owner is very friendly. All the food we have ordered are good but the Shepherd's pie is a must! Pear and Piper drink is so refreshing! Staff are all attentive. Would definitely be coming back and ordering more of the pie!Food: 5/5
Came for dinner lastnight with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly pleased with food, drinks and service overall. Our food was a large portion which you never really get anymore with a chain restaurant, not to mention our food was delicious, wish we could have more. Our server Kate was very accommodating the whole visit and extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning soon!
My food was great but way too expensive. I was told a side was included with my meal so I ordered sweet potato fries and was charged $3 more. I ripped apart one of the deep fried fish tacos and was shocked that it was all fried batter and the tiniest piece of cod, like a sliver of fish!! The taco had a massive amount of coleslaw on top which helped to take away the fried batter taste.The waiter was great but all 10 or 11 of us eating here agreed that this was our last time here. I will continue to go to the Courtyard or the bulldog instead.
Good food and service! I removed a star only because inside the restaurant where we originally wanted to sit, they placed us at a table that was not cleaned. Our menu stuck to our table and under the table was a set of paper and food. The Outside patio was nice, cleaner and private. I enjoyed the calamari and the waiter made his own cocktail sauce for me. I really appreciated that. I had the spicy shrimp pasta which was okay. It was light and tasty. Not creamy at all and doesn't look like the picture in the menu but it was ok. The blackened salmon was nice but small. The artichoke dip is much better with the naan bread versus the chips that comes with it.
Was amazing to see the many vegetarian options they have and the portions were huge. They didn’t accept the ultimate dining card that has them listed. I understand they switched but should honour existing cards. Was just told the boss says no. Won’t go back poor customer service.
Hubby and I were kidless for the night and wanted to go out for dinner and a few drinks. I googled Vegan in Durham Region and this place came up. We went thinking that they would have a few options, but when we got there THEY ASKED US IF WE WANTED A REGULAR OR VEGAN MENU!!! We were so surprised at how many vegan items they had. So, obviously, like the depraved vegans we are, we ended up ordering a ton of food. Everything was amazing, with lots left for a doggie bag. We will definitely be back.
First time ordering Takeout. Was a bit pricey but their Butter Chicken was worth EVERY cent. We very much enjoyed our dinner. The music caught my attention instantly and I was attracted to the environment and can't wait to go enjoy a night of fun singing karaoke. Looking forward. Thanks for the great food!!
We had a great night. Went to the pub Saturday night For a drink and they had a live band. It was a lot of fun. The place was packed until about 10 PM. Band stayed on until 12 Will definitely go back.Food: 5/5
I’ll start with saying that the service has always been great when we dined at this restaurant. It has been a while since we dined here and the menu has changed. I don’t know if they cut back on the quality of their ingredients or the have a chef that can’t cook. Either way the food ‘used’ to be delicious. Two of my favourite dishes in the past was their butter chicken and shepherds pie. I recently ordered butter chicken and found it inedible. The rice was overcooked mush and the chicken had the texture of gummy bears. I sent the butter chicken back and ordered the shepherds pie and it was disgusting as well. It tasted like the smell of canned dog food and it was soupy. Although our bill was adjusted accordingly we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Always have a great experience here. We usually go to Fionns for drinks and to check out their live music. Always a great time. Fun atmosphere, good food and every staff member treats you like they've known you for years. Shout out to Erin for her great service last night!
