It’s a fairly new restaurant about 4-5 months old. Beautiful and cozy spot to dinner with family and friends. It’s family owned and operated business. They are new to the food industry but they are definitely trying their best to make fresh food. They make all their food fresh it does take some time to get your food but definitely worth the wait. We had lobster, rice and peas and chicken pasta. I have to say lobster was excellent and the pasta was amazing. We really loved the lobster and pasta combination. Something about that pasta sauce was amazing. Chef and staff are is friendly. If you want to dine as a small group make reservations, so they can plan a head so you don’t have to wait so long for your food.
Fiona accommodated us even though the restaurant opened at 2 pm, and we got there at 12:50 pm The food was excellent . My family and I had seafood. It was the best not to mention their customer service . Thank you so much. You'll see us again soon.
Came here and had their jerk chicken and my husband had the snapper. Thoroughly enjoyed my jerk chicken. The flavor was so deeply penetrated into the meat and it was fall off the bone tender! The coleslaw was too sweet for my taste and I think the rice and peas could have used a bit more flavor but the chicken was on point. Took a couple bites of my husband's snapper and that was really good too. He really enjoyed the sauce. Food portions were more than enough. We didn't even finish our rice and peas as we were too full. Service was very friendly. They even gave 2 complimentary spring rolls as a starter while we waited for our food. Food did take a bit of time to come out but the restaurant was almost full when we arrived and it seemed that there was only one person cooking. Food is definitely worth the wait though. Pricing was fair. I'm not usually in this area and it's unfortunately quite a drive for me. But if I was in the area again, I would absolutely return and would recommend to others!
Absolutely fabulous Family run restaurant! Clean, spacious and “homely.” We’ve tried the fried chicken, jerk chicken, jerk pork and curried goat… staples of the Jamaican menu… The flavours, presentation and balance were incredible! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Outside is an unassuming little family restaurant next to a gas station , but inside is a super nice family running this Jamaican family restaurant. It was a joy to eat there! and the jerk chicken was really good! We will for sure stop back in next time we are up that way. Parking: Plenty of parking,
So happy that I found this gem while visiting Caledon today. Out of all the Jamaican restaurants that I've been to, Fiona is one of my favorites in Canada. Loved the hospitality during my short visit. A warm greeting from the friendly staff, and Raymond was kind to offer green tea while I waited for my meal. A generous portion of savory food, with only 3/4 displayed in my picture. I'm hoping to visit again for their Mother's Day promotion next month. Definitely support this restaurant!
Wow, finally a Jamaican cuisine I can recommend! This family-run restaurant is a hidden gem. From the food to the service, there is not a mark that they didn't hit. Freshly pressed natural juices, perfectly executed dishes, and a hint of 'yaad' all in one place. Fiona's is the place to be.
One of the best restaurants that i have been to. First, the customer service is amazing. The staff is friendly, professional and make you feel welcome. Second, the food is amazing. The presentation was excellent. I am truly impressed with the high level of service that i received. The restaurant is clean and relaxing and i cant wait to go back. Truly truly impressed.
We have been meaning to try Fiona's for some time now. Drove up to enjoy the beautiful weather and have lunch. The restaurant is lovely inside and we had a nice chat with Fiona and her family. The menu has a great variety and it was difficult to choose what to try! There's an extensive collection of tea available and we tried two which were excellent. We were served amazing home made rolls and then the entrees arrived. Both the jerk and barbeque chicken were delicious as were the side dishes of rice and peas and coleslaw. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are generous. We'll definitely be back to try some different dishes! Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible parking spot near the door and getting into the restaurant isn't difficult.
Add another 5-star review to this list! Totally unexpected restaurant with flavorful food that's like a home cooked meal. We felt like members of the family and would return again if we were in the area. Fiona doesn't cut corners when it comes to quality, which we appreciate. Call ahead if you want something specific because they sometimes run out of popular entrees.
