How difficult is it to give half and half 2 different sauces if a customer orders boneless chicken wings? They do not want to do even one thing extra to accommodate customer request. How do you stand out from other pubs and restaurants in the area if you can’t accommodate such a simple request? I would rather go to a different restaurant / pub if they less desire to be customer serving. Also, sometimes you get the feeling the ladies at the bar are just wanting to be done with the customer. I asked them if they serve boneless wings, they say no. Will they serve meat in Putine, they say no. You wait for a while and persist with some other waitress, she checks in the kitchen and says yes we can do it! I mean are some waitresses not willing to serve / check at all? My review might seem critical, but it is with the intent of improving customer service. Food is great, location is great, and overall ambience is great, but customer service surely needs some attention. Accommodativeness and curtesy and willing to go the extra mile is the key to creating good impression and getting great tips!
Love the interior design of the place. Waitresses and bartender are friendly. Unfortunately, the place has a hang out the homeless. The top of the lungs swearing conversation that goes on would make any blush.
The staff at the irish pub the blonde one is a thieving staff. I wouldn't recommend going to this pub, she stole my money when I went for smoke outside she took my money in the vlt and she charged me $22.25 for a tall glass wine and pint of beer. She tipped herself or plainly just a thieving staff and greedy...
Our first visit was wonderful, service was slow but friendly. Second visit was only okay. Food was served cold and drinks were slow. Tried for a third time, food was served in takeout containers with foil on top, beer tap lines were warm so no beer served bc it was too foamy. We gave it a good try, and wanted to love it, but just couldn't. Also, $18 for 4 potato skins is insane pricing. We were inspired to do them at home where we didn't have to pay wages to staff that wanted to be anywhere else but there.
It was a Friday night...there were a variety of age groups. You could get a quaint and private booth, sit at the bar, or enjoy the table with an open concept. The servers were friendly and super prompt to take our orders and quick to serve our cold drinks. A nice watering hole, next time we will have to check out the food menu.
I love the welcoming atmosphere, and the Food and service are fresh and on demand. I love this place..
This was the third time I had gone to Finns' patio only to be told it wasn't open. Inside, the service was quite bad. After sitting for 1/2 hour, we had to ask for menus. There was no luncheon special and prices were higher than similar places. Although two of us ordered the quesadilla, the chip portions were not equal. Our bills were all mixed up and blame put on the cash machine. None of us are anxious to go there again. The one plus is that the air-conditioner was working.
This place is a joke! I was charged 54$ for 18 pack of Budweiser. The lady at the till told me that they upgraded their system and it is up charging customers. I told her that they are stealing customers money by charging people more than what the actual price is. I asked for the difference back and she said she couldn’t do it. I tried to call the pub to speak to the manager but got the voice mail. I was going to leave a message but the voice mail was full. Not surprised!!!!
Service was good, food was decent. the issue is, the food way too expensive for what you get. you cant tell me that a pound of chicken wings cost $18.75. Probably the biggest price hike ive seen out of any restaurant.
The first night our group went to Finns there was a 50th High School reunion so service was a little slow which was understandable. The food was amazing, tasty and hot, the pricing was quite high for bar food but the delciousness of it outweighed the price. The second time, I went alone, the bar was dead, I sat on the patio and waited 10 minutes with no one coming to check on me. So I had to go inside and ask for service. The last time I went with a group a week later, the bar was dead, service was even more dead and the excuse was "they're new", the high priced food was served to us in take out containers wrapped in tin foil, it was cold and took a while. The beer on tap kept "running out" so we were left with very little options. For such a place with potential, avoid this disappointment of an establishment and head to 2nd Ave and visit O'sheas Irish pub, I know I will.
