The place is spacious and good for shopping. Sometimes the price is wrong, so I always check the price on the receipt after purchase. Most Canadian supermarkets are similar. Costco is the same.. But It's ok. I can check. They also sell "Kimchi" here. I used to go to St. Alberta supermarkets occasionally to buy Kimchi. Kimchi tastes really good when eaten with ramen.

You can occasionally get good deals on produce and bread products by checking the discount racks at the back by the bakery counter. Delicious chicken salad mini subs when they have them. Nice, friendly staff. Generally cheaper than other grocery options in town w/ more selection

Never going here again, very poor service and very mean staff, while I was paying there was staff staring at me and laughing.

June 2022: shopped there. saw organic apples for 1.99 a lb. Verified by the grocery attendant in the produce section. When I went to check out, the cashier told me that they were wrongly priced. However they let me have it for the advertised price, but scowled at me like I was ripping her off. July 2022: My 3rd visit since i moved to Westlock Green cabbage in 2 locations 2 LOCATIONS marked at 49 cents a pound. I bought 5 pounds. At the till, the young "Karen" again said they were wrongly priced. and began to scold the produce young guy saying that he is not to put signs up again... Again she charged me the advertised discounted price thank you and again acted like I was pulling money out of her pocket... You know what Independent Grocer... Go stuff it. I'm sick of your wrong advertising and then acting like the public are trying to thieve you out of anything. Rip up your flyers and don't advertise any deals if you all want to go about acting like y'all are are being swindled.. this is how common courtesy gets lost. I don't need your charity, I'll pay full price for my groceries , thank you.. Just don't go about falsely advertising stuff and then act like we're trying to con you when we buy the advertised product... From now I'll do the drive to Barrhead and do my grocery shopping in their fabulous Co-op, Better selection, better quality, and you get a smile when you buy advertised products... ALSO: Reading some of the other reviews.. seems like this charging people full price for advertised and clearence products seems to be an ongoing issue... Smart plan? or just bad management???

Came in today to pick up a few items. Going through the meat dept. Noticed a young woman placing stuffing boxes above a cooler display. They were placed with exact precision. Then I heard her supervisor state they don't belong there. To my reply, they do now. The young girl was deflated after her attempt. The supervisor ignored me. Bought BC Rock fish as I enjoy non farmed fish expiry two days after purchase. Mention to the cashier the smell of fish. She obviously being from the East coast mentiond Kippers and the smell. Opened the packages and the fish smelt like a dirty diaper that had been in the sun for a day. I won't shop there again.

Good store, nice staff, but nothing special

Good selection,most staff are pleasant,a couple of checkout ladies grouchy.

Update: Prices are even higher then when I posted my first review. No longer shop here unless absolutely necessary. Prices are honestly ridiculous on a lot of items unless you get discounted. Produce is going bad extremely quickly which I find strange. Deli staff are often really rude to the point that we no longer buy deli meat from this location. Although the worst issue is one of there employees was leaving work and speed out if the parking lot cutting us off almost causing an accident. This is something I have dashcam footage of so I wouldn't mind having a manager contact me or my husband because it's unacceptable.

Cashiers friendly and quick. Seafood section is always wiped every time I go in for Atlantic salmon advertised multiple times during the sale. Store is rather expensive and not near as good as the previous extra foods that used to occupy the same building. Prices were way better at extra foods as well as availability of ad items.
