Very disappointed. Have been coming here for several years. There were some glitches here and there reopening after Covid. We were here few months ago and ordered calamari, haddock and shrimp tacos. Calamari was good and the haddock was two good size pieces. We went again two and half weeks ago around 8.30 pm on a Saturday and the place wasn't busy at all. Servers were friendly and attentive. We ordered calamari to share and haddock and fish cakes as main course. Calamari came totally overcooked and was dark brown color. Haddock arrived and was just one piece and the preparation was different from what we had here in the past. My fish cakes were the most disappointing. They were the size of small risotto balls. Nothing like what one would expect fish cakes would be. We are not really into big portions but this was really surprising. And NO, I am not going to tell my disappointments about the food to the server. I worked in the industry and I know how this would change the dynamic between the server and the diner. Server is not responsible for the portion of the food being served and a cook knows if the calamari is over cooked and inedible before put it in the plate and send it to the dining room. I hate to write a bad review and I know the owner does not like anything less than 4 stars and will verbally attack you here below the review. One could see the pattern on the reviews below. I am not sure what happened to this place. Used to be a fun place with good food and awesome staff.
Great place, great food, and great service. The portions are generous. Just one thing, our French fries seemed as they were fired and re-fried, I should have let the server know. Anyway, I really enjoyed the rest of the food.
Ya know, the first time I was here, it was 11:30 am on a Sunday. We came here tonight for dinner and drinks. I was really impressed with the bartender, he knew his stuff Also, the food. Spinach and artichoke dip is always the thing I order, and I can't help myself..... everything was delicious and service was fantastic!
Been here quite a few times. The service is always good, I usually get the haddock which is one of my favorite spots to get it. My 10-year-old son enjoys eating here as well ,last time we were there he got the seafood chowder which was really good and had its own original twist on it more original than the basic seafood chatters you get that most places.he got the cup instead of a bowl which was super huge ended up eating out of it twice and then I ended up eating some.
My first visit to Finbar's was excellent! The service was lovely and the food was great too! I will certainly be back! :
One of my family's go-to spots we come out to brunch here all the time. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is delicious, particular shout out must go to the nachos, and the ruban sandwich. Strong recommendation.

Excellent food! The barman was terrific and made an exceptional Paper Plane cocktail! The atmosphere was great. But for goodness' sakes put up a privacy shield between the urinal and the door!!
Been ordering maple salmon salad for years and loved it. On my last visit I was so disappointed. The fish smelled really off and was half raw and they forgot to put dressing on it. So sad as I had always looked forward to my favorite meal
Smelled delicious when walking it, had classic breakfast, overall very yummy.
