Fields General Store Motel & Gas

Really nice staff, but as with most small town stations, the fuel and snacks we bought were very overpriced. They know you don't have many other options so they take advantage of that. Also, their public toilets are portable toilets (Porta Potty, Honey Bucket) and were in the direct sun - in the late summer they must have been 120° inside. Very unpleasant #2 situation. Overall, the people were nice and it met our needs, but was not exactly optimal.

Employees are always so friendly and helpful. I've never seen it as busy as last weekend but they took it in stride and got us all served as they were swarmed with a birding group and a large group of motorcyclists all at once. You must have a cheeseburger or a milkshake. They are excellent.

I love the food! I look forward to their burger and milk shake every time we are on a road trip near Fields, OR. I suggest getting the Mint Oreo Milk Shake. so tasty 😋

When in the middle of nothing 60 miles from the nearest fuel this place is great. Has a small motel, store and restaurant. Minimal selection of necessities but appropriate. Great rest area.
