"Located on the banks of the Milwaukee River along the village’s main street, the building dates from 1839 when things moved a bit slower and conversation was the primary means of communication. Our Thiensville location boasts a beautiful outdoor patio complete with the natural backdrop of the Milwaukee River. It’s not unusual to spot wildlife such as fox, deer, herons and eagles as you enjoy your Fiddleheads coffee. Indoors, you will find, antique original artwork lines the walls, complementing its rough-hewn hardwood floors, reminiscent of Old Vienna. It’s a great meeting place with Old World feel. Our café is always bicyclist, and family friendly."

Good coffee and service. The staff are very friendly. I’ve gone in a few times and it is very nice inside. It’s nice to sit outside when it’s warm out. Fiddleheads is a great place to meet up with friends and catch up. I can’t remember if I’ve ever tried any of the food. Definitely a great place to go. I enjoy coming here
Had specialty coffees and a muffin. All was great! We sat in the large glass enclosed room with the wonderful fireplace that warmed the room up nicely. Love the choice of rooms and outdoor seating areas to choose from!Food: 5/5
The original Fiddleheads , a magical place on the Milwaukee River. It has grown well over the years; not just in size, but in elegance. Cleverly arranged outside seating on the river and an all-weather patio. The coffee is always good and the baked goods as well.Food: 3/5
The food here is delicious! I got the turkey and Gouda melt, and it seriously changed my life. Also, it's a great place to cozy up and catch up with a friend by the fireplace! Highly recommend visiting!
Oh my!! I was blown away by how amazing this place was. The food the service the atmosphere. It was like being at home. So cozy. Even with quite a few people it still felt quiet. The food had great flavor and texture. You kind of forget you're in a cafe. I could have sat in there for hours talking with my husband. If you are in the area or staying at Sybaris it is just down the road and it is great.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the Mequon-Thiensville area. Great atmosphere, dog friendly. Heated outdoor patio room. Place to fix bikes. Free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets to run your laptop from. Lots of cool attention to detail like drawing on my receipt. I’ll always come back.
Love this place! Great coffee, unique special drinks, tons of great cookies and other pastries. The list of breakfast sandwiches was also very enticing. There's lovely outdoor seating behind the cafe facing the river as well as super cozy indoor seating with couch chairs and a fireplace. Highly recommend. I wish there had been more time to also try their bakery just a few blocks down the same street. You can also get a good selection of coffee beans here.
